I understand liking BTS but she made not a single mention about this or any BTS or Kpop in the video at all, so how is this at all related to the video?
" And it only took me 2 hours" I felt that. No, like seriously, "no makeup" makeup look take a lot of time to do, it's so tiring but the result are super pretty
Yessss, when i try doing glam makeup it takes like 10 minutes but whenever i try to look like i have no makeup/natural face it takes like 45 minustes it takes a lot more blending, countring... lol u are right
@@lcr8817 exactlyyy its so easy to cover up acne etc. with a layer of foundation but a natural makeup look means you cant just do that, you have to use technique and layering in a specific way.
Literally. I love doing big dramatic eyeliner, it takes me probably 5 minutes to do both eyes. However trying to do natural eye makeup?? At least 20 minutes
The other day me and my friends were doing Disney karaoke but we had no lyrics (that was the challenge) and then it came the music from the beginning of Beauty and the Beast... My mind went straight to litttttleee broooooooooow
On a serious note, at the end of the video I actually thought she doesn't look much different from her no makeup face. But then I went to the beginning and I realised how subtle yet drastically she hid the imperfections also keeping her face the same. This is actually a good no makeup makeup. Kudos to her for the patience and skill
considering i watch kdramas everyday all day, i hate the boy main characters in most of the dramas... they have no personality they are just the "popular good looking" boys
The supporting male characters usually have alot more personality than the lead. Why is that? I guess Korean drama writers think women love the expressionless, smoldering type.
The whole matching to the neck thing needs to happen on idols because some of them be looking paper white in the face when they’re not paper white anywhere else. Looking like my ashy knee caps.
I love that your a woman of color that also loves asian culture and girly things just like me 😊, where I live (in the south) no other dark skin girl is like that and i always get looked at as odd for liking the style.
I'm sure other women of colour like it but they are just trying to fight against the neo colonialism and racism and understand their race better. At least that's the reason I do what I do
Okay, I’ve actually wanted to try a lip fade, but o feel like it will look bad. *le shrug* So this looks really interesting! ;-; Why did VDL have to run out of he simple lip fade, I’m too lazzyyyy.
Me: actually watching the sponsor talk. Actually getting interested to buy it. But i try to minimize my plastic cosumption. So i hate this awesome product seems to come in plastic containers... T-T
hey Darcei, i dont know if you read youtube comments often, but i just want to say Thank You! you are such a joy to watch, and Im always thrilled to see a new video
Jung Saem Mool’s foundation is actually sooo good imo for creating that ~natural~ look while having buildable coverage. Feels nice on the skin too even for someone who has sensitive skin! Unfortunately their face products only have like 2 shades like any typical kbeauty brand lol...
I love the JUNGSAEMOOL channel!! I love the professionalism and the gentleness of the makeup artists' hands on any models and on a variety of looks!!! 💜💖 it's a highly recommended channel to look into korean makeup techniques!!!!
You know Darcei. I found Jung Saemool a few months ago and was AMAZED of what shes doing with make up. I was THAT amazed, that I even bought her foundation in that black rectangle thingy which is foundation and concealer in one. Whats sad is... that my face wont accept this product and its looks soooo bad after only an hour... I really wished it would work for my combination to dry skin.... Side note: The formular is really thicc..
Fun tip for everyone trying korean beauty when u have purple or dark lips or 2 tone lips like me..u can still pull the look together...simply put concealer (your shade)as a first coat on your lips the pat it dry and put lipstick on...if u r doing the typical gradient style lips then add rly little mild lipstick to your lips then and the dark shade inside so it looks natural..it's is a real tip used by koreans as well :)
Haha...new subscribers like Ns: Bald headed ? 🤔 where? Me: you have not been worthy of seeing her true form. Ns: what form Me: the potato, THE POTATO!!! 🥔
My brother watching this with me: Him: “uh- is that a safe amount of makeup...?” Me: **looks at brother** Me: oh brother.that’s not even half. Him: **dies**
ayo i love that makeup tutorial especially their eye makeup hacks with the eyeliner!! made my eyes pop more without any harsh changes to already existing routine!!
If you look at the very beginning of the video and skip to the very end you'll see that the changes are quite big. It's supposed to be natural, it's literally the goal of the makeup look so if you think that she's wearing nothing and nothing has changed then the goal was accomplished
Excuse me, but why it calls 'Drama Korean makeup'? This is usual everyday makeup as I understood._. No hate, maybe I don't know origins, history etc of this name, just interesting)
Darcei, can I suggest you not to use patrick star's product anymore? Atleast in the video? He's partying with tana and lots of influencer/tiktok stars. I think people who dont care about other people dont deserve our support. Stay healthy, Darcei!
Honestly just the lack of detail and this makeup tutorial, let you know how they default pick very similar girls to play these characters. I feel like the sartorial would not work for a good portion of Koreans let alone everyone else
I don't see how? The video literally keeps saying that you have to pick a similar color to your skin tone, to your lips, to your eyelids and the details are kept vague because everyone is different. For the contour, they just said to take off the foundation with a sponge and didn't say how you should do the contour because everyone's contour should be different and according to their face shape. The lack of detail means that it's a tutorial for everyone and not just one kind of person. The only thing that might be like you said would be the color corrector? But you can easily find out the info yourself on which shade to use.
