Woah, that impressive. Aminemenz composition of unravel as far as I know is one of his hardest pieces to play. The fact you manage to play some of it under an hour is amazing
I'm always late to these videos 😭 Really good video tho, this is a really nice upgrade from your usual video quality 👍 (btw, imo you can cut down the time lapses a bit. At a certain point, it felt like watching a silent practice compilation with dubbed music. It's more interesting to hear you talk, and maybe you can cut in some afterthought speech as well)
@@ResonantP Are you a music major at UCR (or any college)? I'm planning to maybe minor in music performance, and seeing content like this is really cool. Keep it up my guy 👍
Valiant effort, good sir. Those jumps, rhythms, and expanded arpeggios in the left hand are a BEAST. But I have to ask you, from one pianist to another: Do you typically practice a piece without writing notes on the sheet music? I think bringing a pencil to the practice room might have served you well. In any case, I love your videos! Keep doing what you do! 😊
@andrewlevin7586 they really are! The jumps mostly in the wall are insane to get down, just pure muscle memory. And no I've never actually done anything like, I usually just go off the sheets, though that might be a good idea! Thank you again.
@@ResonantPwriting on sheets is extremely helpful, and something you should aim to do no matter what you are practicing. It can help you prevent further mistakes, direct your attention to specific things on the score, write down chord analysis..etc
This was the video I was looking forward to. The quality of video definitely was a step up from the previous few vids. (15min of pure peak entertainment 😂😂) keep up the good work 💪💪
New viewer here. Would be good to see a 1 hour challenge series like this. If you have more videos like this, please consider making a RU-vid playlist of the videos.
Your progress for an hour is already impressive. 13:07 - help your left hand with right hand to make it easier (on same patterns too) I think listening to the arrangement will help you get the rhythm.
Another insane sightreader I’d recommend checking out is Musicforever60; he’s sightread all the Bach Toccatas, most Beethoven Sonatas, Even Liszt Operatic transcriptions!!
how did you mess up the rhythm so badly, i thought you reacted to this piece a while ago lol 😂 in the ‘wall’, the rhythm for your right hand is wrong- its semiquaver quaver semiquaver, you played like a triplet or something In bar 3, you played the A in the left hand while you played E in the right hand, which is not what it says on the score are all in the next part you made some of the notes in the left hand, you also did this for the right hand in bar 15 you shouldve done more slow practice, also maybe you couldve written down how to count the beats as well. i dont want to say your bad… but you practiced for an hour and still couldnt play the first line. hopefully you spend some more time on this, i believe you’ll be able to play this piece well with lots of practice! ❤
Yeah that's true, but I only had like 10-15 minutes to practice the wall, and all I have to say is good luck if you wanna try. The wall is insane, and in bar 3 I played "F, Eb, Eb,F, D" I'm not sure where you got A and E from. Thank you again! And i should start dotting down things on the sheets
sorry, i meant you playing the second e flat in the right hand as you played the a in the left, while on the score the A is below the F. Its at about 13:01, you do the same thing at about 14:03
Bro said it was “one of the or if not the most difficult piano arrangement made” Holy bait, is that the Most fakest thing I’ve ever heard? I trust that you are smart enough to know that this central, but not your audience. Difficult to respect someone who lies to their audience.
@fuinauts4958 for context the entire song is about 4 minute. The start itself has multiple jumps on both hands. It hard to learn just the intro in 60 minutes. Moreover the left hand jumps in the intro is not small jumps which adds to the difficulty. To most pianist, this is definitely hard to play especially to learn and play in an hour. Hope that helps to explain how this is hard to play!
