If you go underwater Kevin, you should bring lots of ladders. I think that when you place them, it makes air pockets so that you won’t drown, and you got a way up and down safely. If you’re not going up or down, it helps to clear water out of a place easier, rather than putting blocks and destroying to get rid of water.

In clarification for anyone wondering how. You need to craft a boat and a chest and then you put them together either in a crafting table or in your inventory crafting. They won’t break apart when the boat is broken, and it cannot hold items when broken (like a normal chest)

Agreed; as someone who loves building, it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside to see another person get just as excited about little aesthetic touches like plants and wood varieties. Those blue swamp flowers are actually my favorite ones in the game, not counting mods. Even if I live within reasonable distance of a swamp, I always end up bringing some home with me every time I find some, bc they always feel special and rare

Gonna look into that as soon as I get home from work tomorrow. I love basing in villages and building them up into cities, and that sounds like a cool way to interact with villagers

@@bengal4047 It's a really cool mod! You can give villagers all sorts of jobs by placing buildings down. Like fishermen, builders, smeltery, etc. You can even research in the University building to unlock new ones and gain perks for your people haha. I recommend the 1.18.2 or 1.19 versions as they are the ones currently being updated

I always like to just dig my house into the side of a mountain. Then I just make my mines off the back of my house, deeper into the mountain.

@@bryanglaser88 my friend and I got really lucky with a cave house being next to a massive expansive cave that was very close to a deep dark hidden city, it was really cool. i can send the seed if you wanna see it, its only a bit away from the spawn on a snowy mountain

@@GavsterGaime 8027300948549384115 you should spawn on a gravel mountain if i did this right, its the grassy mountain with lots of water falls and massive holes in it that has the cave, there is a hole that leads straight into it, my friend and I built ours into a cave we dug out a little ways up from there, we didnt have to dig far to find an opening and we built out house from there over looking the massive cave system
