Outback Steakhouse is a chain of moderately-priced restaurants in the U.S. that pretends that they have some sort of connection to Australia, uses ads featuring a voice actor that sounds a bit like Paul Hogan, etc. even though there is nothing authentically Australian about them. Most of my Australian friends and acquaintances view Outback Steakhouse with some mixture of bemusement, offense and embarrassment.

Hannah Anderson I’ve noticed that dehydrated onions are in like everything that’s in the freezer aisles of grocery stores so I always wondered if I’d know someone who was allergic to them. I sort of understand how you feel because I hate them and refuse to eat anything that contains them.

Yeah I don't find that shit funny anymore. He avoided a grease fire out of sheer luck right there. It's legit irresponsible to be doing that in any way, much less putting a video up of it. You're looking at 30 and have been cooking for years you do not need to be told that a pot, especially one you're going to use to DEEP FRY, should not be sized to what you're cooking in it like a glove. Grow up a little, in just this one key SO NOBODY WILL FUCKING DIE area of your life. fuck.

I make them at outback restaurant!! Pretty much how it’s made is, you cute the onion and core it out, there’s a special cutter for it. Then, we put the bloom flour on the onion lightly coating it so it’s not wet anymore (the onions need to sit in water to be able to spread the petals of it out) so after coating it with one layer, we dip in in egg wash, and then coat it in flour again, and then when you put it in the fryer, you have to spin it and throw it in upside down, so it opens up! So good
