As a sub-25 intermediate cuber, I never had a slip with this cube. I have the Pioneer UV version and I adapted very quickly to it, maybe the difficulty of controlling it varies from person to person
if Max Park uses tornado V3 version flagship, and I got version pioneer and it is faster should I use his settings or change something like magnets or maglev settings etc.?
Just so everyone knows, you don’t need max’s lubes. They’re honestly just slightly worse reformulations of Vertitas and dignitas in a syringe form, which I can’t understand. Why would anyone prefer the syringe as opposed to the applicators that come with veritas and dignitas? I’m not saying this as an opinion, it’s an objective fact. You can look at what the formulations are in their patent filings, the “non Newtonian” fluid marketing gimmick… guess what? So is dignitas. All the “Max” lubes are is an attempt to capitalize on max’s prestige in the cubing community by paying him for his likeness and creating a product. I’d be entirely unsurprised if Max didn’t even use “his” lubes. Some businessman probably just gave his parents a bag for his endorsement. Also, you’re using an absurd amount of lube. That’s seriously like 10x what you should be using. If you can no longer see the plastic though the layer of lube, you’ve used far, FAR too much. Cut the amount of lube down by like 90% and start using mostly highly viscous lube like veritas. That will give you control without making your cube a sticky, disgusting greaseball and wasting tons f money on lube and time on cleanings.
Hello @ZebraCubes I just want to say the reason the cube was so fast was because you put 4 drops of Dnm-37. I would recommend only 1 or 2 drops no more
