I hope the final versions are designed by Rayban again or some glasses designer to really make them look slick enough to wear in public. I think off loading some of the tech in the wrist band was smart I remember when I was doing dev for Magic Leap and had to literally wear the computer puck around my neck looking like a Flavor Flav medallion 😅😅

HAHHHHH I love this comment. I totally agree and the puck is tiny. Smaller than a phone. Judging by this prototype I think it’s gotta be ray-bans but idk - it would awesome if they made black body and clear body.

hey pep, what's going on here, everyone is saying Meta Orion is an amazing piece of tech, but what i saw so far in demos are just able to read few fruits and packages, which is most of the AI can read pictures that you upload, nothing really surprised me. What am i missing here?

I’d advise watching it again friend- and the image wasn’t uploaded but captured by the glasses. It didn’t just read a package it analyzed the ingredients/objects to name them and give a recipe. It’s interpreting, thinking and suggesting a recipe based on what it analyzed by AI. The wow aspect is that these AI capabilities with graphics, neural interface, eye tracking as smooth as the AVP and hand tracking .. is something that has been hard to achieve in such a compact body. (So far!)

@@KimAlban hey thanks for replying, your second paragraph has some good points, otherwise whether image capture by glasses or upload on website, there is little to no difference. After all u r just feeding pictures to Ai.
