I Tried Minecraft's Newest Clone (& It Surprised Me) 

Fun fact there are 2 creator that are trying to completely replicate Minecraft in roblox right now without making it feel like a clunky ripoff

That boss you fought in the underworld has a chance of dropping a chest, this chest is like an end chest that only you can see. So no one can steal your loot.

The lighting issue is not an indicator of iron ore, but rather just a result of how Roblox lighting interacts with the voxel system. To help optimize the game, voxel based games don't render blocks that are behind other blocks. More than likely the developers made it so that the blocks covered by the block broken are placed right as the block is broken. This means that there is very little space between the edges of each block when inset which leads to light leaking through. Same thing can happen with shader packs in Minecraft when lighting isn't implemented correctly. There is unfortunately no way to really fix this without coming up with some hacky way since there is no way to create custom lighting in Roblox, otherwise games on the platform would be a lot more polished looking. I like how voxels updates more often and is more open to just adding stuff that’s just fun. Like this game has new food like pizza, burgers and pasta. It has new mobs. And it has a lot of new structures.

this game is just insane but the sad thing is that it has been banned as of right now, thanks to roblox, and probably mojang too, I dunno, also there is something funny you can do, and it requires you to simply stand over the bomb and let it explode, its no troll trust

Its not like the other clones, theyre just a copy of old bedrock edition with a resource pack, but this is a port of minecraft into roblox, which means they put a lot of effort into this: drawing the textures, making the movement code in lua. You cant compare it to the free mobile clones.

Me and my friends actually have a server and its pretty fun, the mining is ok (the absence of caves makes it really hard) me and my friends have just been building stuff.

hytale is not a clone of minecraft, it is a game inspired by minecraft but apart from being a sandbox the only thing they have in common is that they are voxel games, do not confuse them, they are quite different.

It's simplistic, but cool, especially for a roblox project. It has it's style and it looks great

You should check out Vintage story, it is basically Minecraft that is more focused on survival since farming depends on soil quality, temperature and the season aswell as progression since you won't randomly find endgame loot and would need to progress from Caveman all the way up and instead of dragons the game has eldritch horrors

Voxels forcing you to go out there and fight creatures and discover new places to access the Nether is tbh a lot cooler than "find water & lava & a bucket & cheese a portal 10 mins in"

As a mobile player that enjoys alot of pixelated games. This game takes the cake for being like minecraft. I played mc back in 2013 and came back to the game having alot. Still an amazing game but I was always looking for a game that is more vanilla when exploring and more untouched by popularity. Lunacraft was another great mc ripoff if you are looking for a survival building game like it. but sadly lunacraft off the market for downloads. Thank you for this amazing video, im definitely going to play this game :))

7:40 Fun Fact, that's actually a Minecraft thing too. Makes this game a more faithful adaptation having this one MC quirk. Or at least was at one point. They fixed that at some point. But funny nonetheless.

The way any block digging game is made on Roblox, makes it almost impossible to have the need to keep a torch on you, except for that one game. (I forgot the name) It's made that way so that blocks you can't see don't even exist, saving precious graphics RAM and vertexes. But if you somehow get a hole out of that system, you could potentially fall into the void, if there even exists a death barrier. So, the light you see comes from the "sun". Also, special ore needs to glow a bit so that their texture doesn't look damp.

best minecraft "clone" is minetest by far and also deserves a video. Its like mc but you can make games inside it and then share them on its database, so its like roblox and mc had a child. And it isnt a clone because it works differenly and it wasnt copied, but there is a gamr inside it called mineclone which is almost copied mc.

You can actually change the render distance in the settings, I tried the highest render distance and it ran perfectly fine for me. Edit I was pretty early in the video when I wrote this lol
