Epoxy resin is not supposed to be sticky or soft 😬 it should act like a solid piece of plastic when it’s completely hardened. it adheres to most plastics and lots of other materials, and it hardens by the heat produced from the chemical reaction. that means the shallower/smaller the resin is, the longer it takes to harden and vice versa! if you use epoxy resin again please research a bit, because it can be dangerous or ruin something you don’t want it to. do it in a ventilated area (bc of fumes), always wear gloves, protect your workspace, and use containers and stirrers you don’t care about ruining or that you can throw away :D

The coffee spill was a great idea! You can use it in cinemas or concerts like when its dark. They wouldn't notice it cause its dark, but they will notice the papercup cause its a contrasting color.

Two things for anyone using resin, wear a respirator mask and gloves. And try to stick to the ratio measurements that the brand says to. Things can go wrong if you decide to change the ratio.

1 : The coffee spill wouldn't be good unless on a table cause in sofa it would soak 2 : black coffee is clear 😂

Not gonna lie, I primarily watch you because I'm thoroughly entertained and baffled that you can afford to spend money on things/food you will potentially (likely) destroy and you don't even bat an eyelash. Your first logic on the wine one was correct, not with hot glue but you could do it with the resin: pour it in the cup and when it starts to get a little harder (before the film forms) you turn it so it will not spread that much and will be "spilled liquid" for real

I remember hearing here on RU-vid that the fumes from epoxy are really dangerous and cause really serious side effects if you don’t use proper protective gear. Next time just to be on the safe side please use a mask! Some people get problems that last a lifetime
