That thumbnail was actually so nostalgic I knew I recognized it from somewhere, I miss the 360 man so many good indie games there

Absolutely, great game, good fun with friends. Most of the community is super nice as well, its even got a speedrunning community with Ball Race, which I wish got more attention.

If they ever get the workshop / player creation tools off the ground I think it will really take off. You can only play the same mini-game maps for so long before it gets old. Still love TU

@@swerving2win It just got released in beta! It shows in Ludwig's vid for just a second, but SDNL (the FPS mode) already got Workshop maps as a beta feature. They're on the way! ;)

Honestly saddens me that it's seen as a dead game. Last I played was back when the arcade was added. Wasn't too keen on all the ball games. Maybe I boot it up this weekend and see what I've missed.

The last time I watched Mark, Bob and Wade play together was some kinda prop hunt game. Wasn't even that invested in the group but it still makes me a little happy to see they still play games together to this day. Kinda a reality shock seeing how they aged though.

What would you classify as large? Would a group of 3 or 4 be enough to have a good time on Tower Unite?

@@lucasworkman7330 4 is big enough to play most of the games, however there are still plenty of arcade games you can play, an entire casino, mini golf, kart racing and a lot of other stuff if you only have 3. It's also just fun to see friends in goofy workshop outfits as well

Yea as a someone who plays a bunch of tower unite I was surprised to see it in this, but I think that's just because I forget how small it is sometimes. The ability to interact with literally any player on the game at any given moment (aside from people in private condos) makes it feel much busier than it actually is. Not to mention that people tend to flock to each other, a couple plazas tend to fill with all the players and the same is often true for condos and some mini-games.

tower unite is actually great to play with friends also it never feels dead because the people that play fill out 1 or 2 servers

Sooooo worth checking out. not the biggest fanbase but a consistent one.

I couldn’t recommend it enough, itd a great game with so many fun things to do

@@gimpthe2nd735 I love all the micro communities it creates: I spent a bunch of time on Ball Race and all the competition inspired me to finish every world without dying

I think as far as communities go for games, it has survived for more than a decade and even stemmed from gmod back in the day. I would argue Lud is just using a more content oriented definition.

It’s also just the speed at which content in the game is added, takes a while but watching the game grow and add amazing new games and content is just part of what makes the game so great
