Switch player here: i love to play with the pro controller and on the big screen in the living room. I'd love to try mobile once but Unite mobile isn't available in Switzerland. Thank xou for the nice content, and the phone really looks cool!
I found unite on the playstore, so I played it on my mobile for a year before I realised through your videos that you can play it on switch, which I have, but I'm so used to playing on mobile I've stayed using it!
I am a mobile player. I like it a lot more because of the speed at which I can perform my inputs. I also find it more convinient to use my phone over the switch.
I hate to admit it but I agree. My controller has a lot of drift and it gets very frustrating when I press the button to score and my character goes left for no apparent reason. And it's because of the drift is constantly pulling it in the direction. Playing on mobile is more accurate but I like playing on a big screen on my couch.
I'm a mobile player since I don't have a switch. Nice to see you try it and know your thoughts about it as well. I pan over the map too when needed and you are right gaming chairs are a huge scam.
While I do like both, I usually just play mobile because my switch is really trash, although I have noticed some characters are more fun to play on mobile, Mew being the most prominent
I like playing on phone but it does have its downsides at times. Like the wild pokemon button is so small and i got fat thumbs. So many times i try to score or basic attack and i miss the button by a tiny margin so my attacks don’t go off. Like im not looking at the buttons theres someone attacking me XD
that's a cool phone! I'm interested to see how you get on with playing on mobile. I've never played unite on mobile, but my experience from playing other games is that my fingers start to drift off position and I'm tapping the wrong place on the screen and nothing is happening because I'm not tapping the button. By the way, have you considered positioning the camera (or an extra camera) looking up at your face when you're playing? We get an awful lot of time looking at the top of your head.
I've never played on switch but from what I can tell the advantage for mobile is that it's much easier to use the aiming wheel. But it's hard to reset Mew moves fast
I like how you can click I believe B in the switch and it hits the other target in a instant which you can’t do on mobile. However the phone plays better. I notice if I would have a connection or any issue it’s usually on the Switch. This is why I can’t wait for the switch 2 to come out so so can not only play smooth but still be able to attack and choose what to attack with my default attack in terms of farm vs player.
The main reason I play keep playing on Mobile is because I can move the minimap faster and easier. Looking at what my teammates and where enemies are is super important for this game.
One of the disadvantages of watching you stream on a phone is that most of the time your magnificent face is facing down. 😢. Also I learned if you tap the map it'll show exactly where you want to see.
Mobile player, sometimes I feel like not having buttons puts me at a disadvantage tho. Having to click-drag your moves is impossible when you’re getting CC’d.
i used to be play console, but then switched to mobile, and i honestly prefer console way more. yeah it runs better and you can aim better, but the actual controls are so compressed that pressing multiple buttons at the same time like moving the camera while attacking, ejecting during skill shots, or simply trying to cancel moves really fast just doesn't feel good.
