To take my site from 380 articles to 1200 articles by January 23 and recover fully from an algo hit in Nov 22 which I have already started recovering from thankfully.
This is actually very encouraging to hear. I'd always thought that blogs had a grace period where one was able to get a lot of traffic and if it's been low for a year or two, it was pretty much dead beyond repair. This proves otherwise.
I’s really impressive. I dream about creating my blog since 2010… but haven’t due to lack of time. I want it all organized like this. Thanks for sharing
This is insane organization. Well, blogging is a business after all. I just started blogging on the side and being a truck driver leaves me no fixed schedule and I'm not in the financial position to hire writers. But still, My goal this year is to publish at least 30 fully optimized articles. Will try for 50 if I can. The fact you are doing this for so long inspires me to be patient and consistent. Thanks!!
Just a tip: if you are a one man team, dont start making a lot of changes without being 200% sure you are right and that you REALLY need the change... sometimes, even reverting back you wont get back lost rankings. Cant count the times I see people regreting fixing something that is not broken.
Great video. Watched it twice! I'm doing something similar this year with a new website. I've written 181 blog posts this year with a goal of 1,000 in a highly competitive niche. Hoping to crank up to 300,000 monthly visitors in two years. Thanks for the in-depth vid! Keep them coming!
So powerful dude ❤.. I’m trying to reach my goals I start a blog as a complete beginner a year ago.. I’m seeing some progress but I’m sure I made a lot of mistakes but what makes things harder is that I’m on very competitive niche and I’m working alone sometimes I found my self lost completely lost but when I see beautiful videos like this one this is a Motivation to work harder even if no results show up
So much valuable, actionable content in one video for free. And I'm going to look into Link Whisper. Thanks you for being so generous with your knowledge!
Great video. It gives some much-needed motivation as of late. You know how January usually is. I really think the spreadsheet is key and something I'm not doing enough of. I'm just randomly finding keywords on my own or through services, and then I go to the next thing. I am also very impressed by your display earnings per day and that Trello board! Nice work!
This is the first time I've discovered your video content man. Super actionable, insightful and exactly the person through whom I would want to learn entrepreneurship and making money online. With you being transparent with your SOPs, workflow - you were definitely able to establish trust for a first time viewer. Wish to learn more about your processes and workflows on growing sites
Nice video. I miss this type of content from you. I haven't been to Niche Pursuits in over two years. My favorite thing about the site was that it was a personal blog - year end reviews, goal posts, income reports, niche site challenges, posts about challenges you've encountered and how you solved them, etc. Now it just seems like a bunch of random people writing for SEO. Same thing with Pat Flynn's Smart Passive Income blog. Used to love that site and now it just seems so robotic and unfriendly. Like the writers are only writing for SEO. Glad you are getting the traffic and the money you want though. I hope to get some traffic to my site this year (Google updates killed the traffic last year). Good luck in 2023!
Glad you enjoyed the video! The blog has certainly evolved. I continue to share more of the personal updates through Twitter and Facebook group: twitter.com/nichepursuits
UPD: Hey Spencer, nice stats! Being among those, who joined your blog last year. Remember even your comment on Twitter about my feedback on the new site UI. Time flies!
Glad to see that you receive traffic from my country Kenya too. Awesome stuff. I find this video valuable because I'm intending to start blogging too. Thanks
Great video. Running multiple sites, not sure I can do 1000 ( or even the exact number you managed) a year lol. But Definitely inspired me to publish more. Great stuff.
This was such an informative video! As someone who’s at the start of my journey this was really helpful for where to go with my content marketing strategy. Congratulations on the huge bump in your traffic!!! Thanks again!
Wow, talk about determination and dedication! Kudos to you for pushing yourself to reach that goal of 1,000 blog posts in just 12 months. I can only imagine the journey you went through but it all paid off in the end.
I like watching the Niche Pursuits channel, but the videos are much longer than I prefer, so I have missed many podcasts recently. This video length is just about perfect and informative.
@@niche-pursuits As a Film Student (completed my Masters degree few years back), I can say, you have the great chance in this sector. Carry on. Wish you good luck. 💯
Brilliant Video. So helpful and nobody shows the actual backend of GSC and Trello. Thanks a ton for that. I live for the content on this channel. The podcasts are a goldmine and now this video is the cherry on top! Thank you!!!
What are you using to determine search volume and keyword difficulty? AHREFs? ~1k articles in a year is insane man. Your team is on fire and your are ridiculously organized with Trello and your spreadsheet.
Amazing work. I'm doing something (500-blog post publishing goal) for a new project this year. Are you able to elaborate on how much you invested to upgrade your site design + the dev costs to get it to hit 100 on page speed insight markers? New branding and layout looks great.
Thank you for this and especially the trello portion of the video. One of my goals this year is to become more organized with this as I hope to finally start doing this full time. Would it be possible to make a full video on trello and what and how you do with it?
I won't likely do a full video. I think I basically showed everything I do with the trello cards. Here's is a trello template I created to replicate what I'm doing: www.nichepursuits.com/content-creation-sop/
Yes, I would agree to a certain extent...unless you build an email list and have your own products, then its much more stable. Blogging is a great way to get traffic to your business though.
This is the exact reason I and most other people despise blogs. First of all most blog posts are written by people who have absolutely no idea what they are talking about, don’t have any stats, data, or otherwise applicable credentials, it’s all a numbers game. “Let’s put out 1000 blog posts.” Just pumping out content instead of producing useful information in an innovative way. Not to mention when people ask questions on google they want a direct answer not a 10 paragraph essay on someone’s opinion on the topic which is riddled with ads to the point you don’t even know what you were reading about. I’ve yet to find an “article” that was informative or entertaining or enjoyable to read. Because anyone can write a blog on their opinions about things but at the end of the day no one gives a shit about anyone’s opinion. We just want the facts in a short concise manner.
The biggest benefits will come as you write more content. However, adding internal links for all your articles is a great habit to get into from day 1!
That's good to hear, I'm actually wrapping up the creation of an artificial intelligence blog rider that makes completely optimized blog articles in 5 minutes. we're trying to push out 50 a day so we can write 1,000 articles a month
@@billyscorner2232 My friend, I made my own artificial intelligence tool that allows me, myself, to make 10 articles per hour that are properly formatted and optimized with relevant RU-vid embeds and table of contents as well as interlinking. If I just work for a 5 hours I can make 50 blogs. however, I do understand your perspective, because you do not have the tool that I just created, so of course you're under the assumption that it's impossible, but I can tell you that it is possible
