Someone in my local cex brought in a prestine xbox one. Cex damaged the item, it came back with scratches that wasn't there before , then they told the customer they won't be buying it because they said the disc drive is broken because it doesn't read discs. Not only did they damage the item, they probably tested the item with scratched up discs so they could reject the item. Avoid cex at all costs.

I am from portugal, here they almost never give a grade A to any phone but they give grade B quite often. But the problem that I faced with cex was that after they grade the phone they still have to go do some tests, and all of the phones that I brought failed on the battery test. On the last one they told me it had to be less then 1000 cycles, I didn't even knew what that meant but recently I found out what it means and there's absolutely no way that phone had 1200 cycles like they said. The one I am using currently has 76% battery health and 379 cycles, the one they said it had 1200 had 74%.

It can be hit and miss with testing I've seen the staff toss around Phones sliding them on the counter etc.when testing in the back or forcing the charger cable into the port

Liked the video but the screenshot for the A Grade version of the phone didn't match to the video, it showed they offered £500 cash for the A Grade, but they offered you £591 cash for the B Grade I'm guessing this is because the screenshot was taken at a later date, perhaps look up & show the prices before hand in the video same day as recording, then get a price in store. I'd also suggest seeing what they say if you bring them a BRAND NEW & still sealed phone to them, that way you or them have to open it at the counter, obviously if you wanted to do the same at Cash Converters you'd need two sealed phones instead of one.
