We put similar ones on Ripstik this winter. He runs great, but our blades were twice as short. And we put one blade at a time. They didn't let us go to the rink, they were afraid that we would spoil the ice, we had to ride on the school hockey box on the street and on the city ice rink in the park. being from the north i had this idea as soon as i was up on my free skates, i just didn't have any sacrificial iceSkates and figured a blade attachment was soon to come...freskating is more like iceskating than rollerskating, as ive always said to explin the "pump" you need only say "you drive yourself on freeskates by doing PLANTED CROSSOVERS"

Yuppp! A bit diffifult to explain to those who don't skate, but you could take concepts like that from ice skating, roller skating, and inline skating, and they really do translate!

yes, seperate snowboards had already been done. can't remember the brand though. seem to have worked only on slight downhill slopes, not so much on flat land.

Maaan Freezskates are sick. If only they were popular enough for all the rinks to allow them! I feel like you need to wear a special kind of shoes with them so you don't slip as easily when you step off.

Yes! I love them so much. At first I wasn’t very good but I eventually got the hang of it. Now I can roll for a really long time thanks to your tutorials. I’m going to learn how to pump tomorrow. Most fun I’ve had in a while.

Y’all should honestly produce them… it would explode up north where the free skates aren’t as popular (for weather reasons)… and it would be a cool idea. Profit wise and popularity wise it could also get people into freeskating too. Offer a deal on the site where you buy a freezkate and get a freeskate half off or something and you’d get a good profit margin going. Just a thought from a random dude in Georgia. It would be cool if you sold a separate ice skating frame that we can latch on to our freeskates. For us folks in Canada, this would be awesome since skating rinks provide the smoothest surface.

i mean all u have to do is make them a binding for the foot. that gets rid of a safety concerns for why a rink would ban them. i know thats not how freeskates work but i mean take the win where u can.

I mean if they had straps, falling might be a nightmare 😅 In this case though it actually makes more sense than freeskates. If you go to a rink, you're probably not trying to hop off the ice skates until you're done skating 🤔
