Great video! I got this to work now. My shield was falling off early but it was exactly for the reason you said-just needed more HP on my champ with the shield set. Got this to work with High Khatun, Geo, Wixwell, Godseeker, and Anchorite. Thanks again!

Thanks for this. I'm F2P and it tapped my account getting Wixwell in the first place. With this I at least got the 3 star on nothing but stockpiled brews.

A few things I can think of is that the decrease spd is landing on a 3% early which is causing the tune to drop out and fail. Not enough shield to start with to outgrow the incoming damage, or Wixwell, in the Cadaver team, or when he's the only bad affinity champ, he's too far back in the order, move him into 2nd spot for his Intercept, or he will get stunned repeatedly at the back and it probably never reaches Cadaver and he dies. Make sure everyone except your stun target, which has to be the dps is also in Steadfast Mastery, it acts like an extra buff and the CB will want to target someone else. Put Wixwell in an Immunity set instead to prevent the stun then you can place him wherever you want. I don't have Wixwell in reflex and he works just fine, but I've not faced spirit yet so waiting for that test too. just a few thoughts, I'm sure there are other's too. Edited my team in... High Kathun, Wixwell, Corvis, Geo, Demytha. Will replace Demytha with Hellborn Sprite for that rare advanced quest.

In my opinion, the 5* soul is worth going for if you use him in Hydra You need Acc to land his Decrease Atk and Provoke, you need Res to withstand Mischief (since Wixwell has Counterattack all the time, he's a very good Mischief Tank), you want Def for a bigger shield and more damage; and since he's an AoE, Cruelty is pretty nice on him.

I have a 2 key double Demytha clan boss team, I replaced one of my damage dealers with Wixwell and noticed the shields failed as the turn count got higher, I think it may because of Demytha's A1 shield, but I would really like to get the 1 key quick battle unlocked. I am going to try some other comps and see if I can get it. I hope this infinity shield team doesn't mean Plarium will nerf Wixwell like they did with cadaver and orn. Thanks for showing us the path!

I use Grand Oak Padraig as my speed buff champion and his A3 cleanse seems to do the trick for spirit affinity CB.

good stuff man! i was using cadaver with valkyrie and irongut, mikage and wixwell for 200-250 on nm. but just swapped out alaz for valkyrie to get more damage. he also puts up block damage, counter attack and the inc defense which gets rolled over and gives wix a chance to grow his shields. turn limit at 204-208 speed. hit 399m on nm with gnut instead of cadaver and then 300 on unm with taras instead of gnut for the extra buff extender. could probably go as low as 196 speed-199 speeds? got buff overflow with 4 extenders

Ended up using wixwell, corvus, demytha, rathalos, and geomancer. Broke 330 mil!

8:00 Maybe the inconsitency is from Wixwell in reflex. If you don't get a key proc, then it might throw it of on spirit

I pulled 10 sacreds (all I had left) and got 3 leggos, only one was new to the account. That said, I think the 5 star is required for a max nightmare hydra dmg team with Togron & Yaniica (thank you Bronko for the team), but I don't even have the gear for that comp... That 75 Res as the Head of Mischief Tank does make a significant difference.

Hey HH, an idea for fixing maybe... I remembered The support mastery with +hp. Wasn't it like a "no go" for the cb. Could that be a way to force the cb to a specific "target champ" at the beginning?

I have that issue when running quick battle using Demytha Heir on UNM but works fine if I don't do Qucik Battle. Spirit only.

Is shield set necessary? Does Krisk work instead?

Hey HH, any chance we could get a vid on your thoughts about Wixwell in hydra with maybe a few team suggestions? I've heard the Yannica team doesn't really work in the live game.

The issue I had with Wixwell comp being inconsistent was that I didn't have a high hp shield set buff from my champion so by turn 18 or so it was getting destroyed by the CB and Wixwell wasn't growing it fast enough. You need to have the shield set on a champion with high HP to take the first couple of hits from the clan boss without decreasing it significantly.

Ngl I know some people don’t mind but having these path events added after the fusion and just having them back to back just feels so aggressive. It is a good thing if it was easy to achieve but “ relentless “ is absolutely accurate. Even as a low spender you will have to skip a few here or there. This cycle wears on people wanting to enjoy the game bc you either keep up or fall out and become casual. Idk just thoughts , not like it matters bc this is clearly here to stay.

Anchorite maybe a better buff extender since he can also remove a random debuff from each ally if he can be set up to cleanse the spirit affinity decrease speed debuff

Do you know if Mikage A1 overwrites the shields?

im building the geo team and i dont have another leggo, so i go the 3 star at least. but i'd love to see that cadaver team in a video

For my unkillable Muth-heir team spirit is inconsistent, even though the calculator disagrees.. I THINK it's to do with the decrease speed debuffs being resisted.

Going to try Elva, Geo, Wix, Sandlashed, and Demytha. Hopefully, between the block damage and block debuffs, they should be able to last. Speed tuning is not my strong suit!

i am using geo as dps, and he actually ends up doing more then on void. i do use wxiwel as the lead so he puts the intercept on himself at the start

I just swapped out the HK or Brogni for a 4th buff extender. Put weak afffinity in lead. Covers a huge range of speeds with 4th extender. I hit cap without speed tuning anything.

I think there was a deadwood jedy video - and plarium confirmed -, actually clanboss is not necessary going in order with its skills. In that scenario Valerie was actually causing the cb changing up his skill order. I am not stating that is the problem here, and if problem just goes away if you replace Valerie, but the misterious AI behaviour and early death of team suggests me that might be the problem

Retaliation set is my favorite set in the game

I got clarification from Plarium support about how Shield buffs work. If an existing shield has 1 turn to go a new Shield buff will overwrite it even if the new buff is less than the old buff. If the existing buff has 2 or more turns to go a new buff must be of a higher value before it will overwrite the existing buff. I needed to know because I will be using Demytha as a buff extender but she also has a shield buff on her A1

any chance you could put together a tune involving Lanakis the Chosen, she has a 30% turn meter fill on her a2 with her buff extension, having her on my team is one of my only options buff extension.

Using anchorite, apothecary, geo, wixwell, and corvis went from 30 mil to average 270 million damage on ultra nightmare. Didn't speed tuned it just threw not so great gear on and let them go.

Mikage's a2 reduces debuff duration on your champs, so 2/1 spd will probably be the best option

Wouldn't faultless defense be best on him? At 5 star 9% reflect for max turns would be a decent amount no?

Problem solved, HK speed lead in the first few attempts, when you put Wixwell as lead it looks like Cadaver got adjusted for the missing speed (compared to Geo) but Wixwell did not and I assume the others didn't as well.

Your hellborn sprite has cycle of magic, is that the reason your speed tune is messing up?

would love to see speed lead alone, speed lead with speed, and pure block debuff, I could reasonably be able to take brognie and make him part of the clan boss team and not care, he gets no use anywhere on my account, what I am looking for is just consistency and at least for me, that means a block buff champ would be the best so I don't have to care at all about affinity. waiting on free regear to really set anything up because I assume I will run into problems and need that wiggle room

I used to run a team that would every so often fail spirit on certain difficulties. I never knew why until one day I realized since any of my champions could 3 percent resist decrease speed, it would somehow eventually screw up my team order on the failed runs. Probably isn't the case here, but I figured I'd throw it out there nonetheless.

I have also had weird mess ups doing quick battle then I watch the first 20-30 boss turns and nothing goes wrong. Even on void

Honestly the easiest way to build Wixwell team is just 4 buff extenders + a damage dealer. You should never fail and getting to max turns means most people are 1 keying which is the goal. No speed tuning necessary! Just make sure you have one person in shield set

Where do you get the first key? I can’t get to any keys as I didn’t start with one.

If you are using High Khatun as speed lead make the champ that is strong affinity for the clanboss in the second slot

Honestly, you're better off doing the 1-1 tune, you get more cb rounds because you aren't burning through your turns, and the damage ramps up higher for more geo damage. No worries on falling out of tune, at least from all my auto runs with the 1-1 tune with brogni and geo in there

These people at palarium are insane to think we can do these paths right after a fusion as expensive as they are. They must think everyone who plays are millionaires. It's ridiculous!

what about change valerie into Aniri? Im so interested about this team with brogni... if this will work somehow... i can do clan boss 1 key...

Bolster causes really weird stuff with the shields. It seems to make them fall off/reset/randomly lower. Starting the shield with Brogni and having Wixwell grow it lets you get reflect from it. I am running fayne instead of geo with brogni doing the reflect shields and getting over 220 mil every time

i use double corvis, geo, high khatun, and wix on spirit affinity my run was going well but high khatun died pretty early on still managed to reach turn limit and 335M damage i think the decrease speed threw the run off but im not sure why they were able to keep going

Not sure why your brogni-wix team didnt work. Hows your ai for them? Mine failed then i turned off their a3's after opening with them. Theyre both the fastest on my team, but its a 1:1 w/martyr. Hasnt failed since opening then turning off a3s for both brogni and wix, consistently hitting 320m+. Wix leads, brogni, martyr, anchorite and hellborn sprite. Anchorite is in shield set. Edit to add: still does 320m+ on spirit. Havent had magic affinity yet but cant see why that would be an issue

14:00 isnt the stun based on enemy max hp? so wouldnt def be irrelevant for the stun target? for every other hit you would want def to make sure those shield are as stout as possible.

Someone help! Do I need those exact speeds or is it also okay if I just make my time fast. So what I am trying to say is do I need to pay attention to my speed tune if I just make my champions fast with like a nekmo and everyone base speed 200+

Can go on the test server and don’t do instant battles and watch the runs on spirit on auto to see what’s failing. Hopefully, the test server changes affinity each day. I’m betting block debuffs going to be needed to be 100% on instant battles for all affinities.

Maybe check the masteries ?

Why Hell Hades uses Wixwell A3 with a higher priority then his A2, i believe the intercept comes often enough? I would use start with A3 and then increase the shield strength and duration as much a possible.

I saw that one hades brogni pulls almost as much dmg as geo. I think the both of them on a team would be about as good as the wix comps can be

Be glad to skip the Wixwell Path, have so many champions awaiting Minotaur runs it is crazy already completed the Masteries for 3 since getting the fusion done and will be happy to get a good few more done before the next one. Am tempted to pull my 3 scared shards as it is a times 2 event and with the training in running Minotaur will end up with a few points but not close to enough for a soul.

3 Star - 2 brews. 4 star - 3 Brews. 5 Star - 6 brews + 1 star. This is more efficient.

does wixwell geo elva demytha mikage works?

So many problems with the spirit CB. It really needs to be investigated properly. My team with heiress fails sometimes, and it's because she just randomly cleanses when she's not supposed to which then doesn't block the stun when it happens. Very irritating to randomly fail, but I have never figured out why. It's like a 1 out of 20 runs type thing.

for 5* i prefer 5 brews and 1 1* unit, takes you just into rank 23

It's probably wix getting weak hit and not landing dec atk. The first couple turns are the most critical. I'm doing it with hk at 50.

You have reflex too on wixwell, maybe thats what caused the RNG

Pretty sure the reason your cadaver died is because he's taking extra turns if you don't disable his A2 and A3, so his buffs run out

It’s not easier to do champ training after the empowerment, because we were always leveling the epics to 15 before feeding them… now it’s harder because we can no longer use them as food after partially leveling them…

I cant seem to build shield on my geo everyone else builds shield just not my geo an val I got her too 217 speed cant get 226 but im using Eva for lead she has speed buff an etc but still cant build geo shield at all

I try harded nightmare campain yesterday, i finaly beat it got my new shard. Damn my pulls was aweful i want to take a big shit after that kind of opening, not worth my time

Priority the 2nd skill of Wixwell instead of your 3rd skill specially if you are in a Reflex/Impulse set.... That's why you are failing ... mine is 100% clear rate because I prioritize 2nd skill of Wixwell instead of his 3rd in the AI... But make sure you make the 3rd an opening....
