Well done Ian. Long time viewer, first time to comment. You’re easily one of the most enjoyable resellers to watch on RU-vid. Appreciate the knowledge you pass on. ✌🏻
A charity shop near me told me they type the item in google and whatever the first or second price is that’s what they mark it as. Crazy!! It’s tough out here for a reseller. Great video. :)
I live in w-u-e. The Longfield you went in was pretty reasonable until about a year ago when they started matching their prices to ebay. They also send all the best stuff to head office to go online. Cotswolds Cats and Dogs is pretty good for clothes. There's also a Break around the corner, not sure if you went there, but that one is usually the best of the bunch. Dursley is ok sometimes, the Bluecross used to be amazing, but they too are now pricing stuff up. If you come this way again, Yate and Chipping Sodbury are worth checking out, plenty of chazzas there. There's also a Longfield in Berkley that sometimes has some good stuff. Thornbury has a quite a few shops but I never get much success there. Congrats on the 10k subs, well deserved!
Legend - 10k in subscribers, well deserved buddy. You have come a long way in both your reselling and youtube journeys. That Dreamcast keyboard is well cool to see in a charity shop! I'm always impressed how you continue to find items from charity shop to resell. The ones round my area are still awful in terms of stock and pricing.
Congratulations on the 10k Ian. Really enjoyed the last year or so of watching your content and taking on board some of your advice, recently started to use your build up of trade at Cex as a way of saving money on personal electronics which I would never have considered before. So appreciate that, hope your doing well 🙏🏻
Just catching up on the vids and just want to say massive congratulations on the 10k, very well-deserved!! Love watching your videos and seeing the various pick ups, keep it up!
Loved the intro and well deserved my friend. You have made the channel yours, and no one can take that away from you it's what you have done over the duration of videos with your jellycat intros as well as making it entertaining and having the Welsh pokepicker on there he's a funny guy but a genuine friend like the bond you have with him keep up the fab work Ian Big well done 10k now thats a challange excellent work
Well done sir, love your channel and knowledge. Wish I knew how to identify transformers as well as you do, usually takes me ages to work out which I have. 😂
I sort of agree. But more and more people are starting to sell their stuff online and less giving to charity. The overheads to keep the shops open also going up. So they have to make money somewhere. And if charity shops are seeing things on ebay selling at a decent price then they will just copy the ebay prices. If people are willing to spend 5quid for a item on ebay why ain't they willing to pay that for it at a charity shop?
@@shannonhayes3504 tbh that's a great point , but you have always been able to grab a good item for a good price in them not anymore for the most part ,
