Hello everyone, welcome to my first video on this channel. I recently had the opportunity to visit Strasbourg, France! This video is a mini vlog of me trying to speak french in France after my french learning process of only three months (so far). Any corrections to my French are welcome in the comments!

When she read her intro to camera I thought, no way has she been learning for 3 months, like no way at all. You don't just speak like that with no practice. Then she came to do the ordering and she spoke exactly as you'd expect a three month learner to speak! Good luck !

Tu parles super-bien après seulement trois mois d'apprentissage ! Saches que commander au fast-food est probablement ce qu'il y a de plus difficile vu que les serveurs s'attendent à ce que ça aille vite et que le client aie déjà préparé à l'avance ce qu'il voulait !

I thought « meal » is repas i guess it’s slang or normal way of talking not try book I’ve been studying on duo long for about a month any tips on improving my studying ? Any books or ways of studying that helped that you can share avec moi

Meal litterally means "repas" BUT in the specific context of a restaurant/bakery where you have the possibility to have a main course with a beverage and a dessert (or an apprtizer, or fries in that case), for a fixed price, THAT is called "le menu". But generally meal is repas : the moment you are eating.

Next time you can just say "je vais prendre (food) à la carte" if you want a separate item

I dont think you learned this in 3 months. Maybe you have learned French in school, and just practiced for 3 months. Maybe your original country is a francophone :)
