What a lovely guy this owner is. He sounds a genuinely nice bloke and is giving his 💯 not to offend anyone. Considering the times we live in it’s important to understand most immigrants in this country love this county.
Can't complement the owner enough. What a genuine well integrated Yorkshire bloke who respects the history and culture and puts his own twist on it. Will definitely be visiting this place just to show support.
@@MikePaton-Williams-yv9qo hi Mike, based on your recent negative comments on this channel, I think you should start your own food review channel so that none of us could watch you. Cheers!
I'm tempted to drive up from Somerset just to try this chippy as not only did the food look stunning but the owner was such a lovely fella, and how lovely of him to use local names for his chippy - Bravo Danny another great video.
If there ever was a time, in the UK, we needed a guy going around and showcasing independent businesses, owned and staffed by people from different nations, this it the time. With the horrible things happening, that we're watching in the news, Danny is a shining light, for hope! Where ever you're from, whatever your background or ethnicity, in the end all we want is to live our lives without fear. Sadly a lot of people seem to have forgotten this.
What a fantastic and enthusiastic business owner, he deserves all the trade he can get. I'm on an intermitant fast at the moment and all I have had today is, 2 coffee's, a cup-a-soup and some fruit with yougurt, honey and crushed walnuts and I could eat a portion of those fish and chips right now.
Danny, What a guy, Making time and taking photos with the folk. Cracking to see a genuine bloke do so well. Glad to see all the love in the comments too all stems from the big man Danny himself!
Danny, love the content. I live miles away from the places you review so I'm not here for the food. I love your kindness with people, the photographs with fans and especially love the Bradford series because it shows that we live in a rainbow nation and many of the people you talk with are more eloquent that the eejits that complain
I assumed the van was for when it was raining. Seems a bit daft sitting outside in the rain when the van has room and facilities in the back to sit and do the review. But yeah, please someone buy him an umbrella at least!
@@GIBBO4182 honestly I’ve tried fish and chips up and down the country, these guys are one of, if not THE best I’ve had. If you ever go you have to try the curry sauce!
@@Christianlee14did you think "I'm going to be a 🔔 end" or does it just come naturally? What's even weirder, is in your comment history, you've used "tbf" yourself!! So tbf is ok but not ngl? Seems a bit strange and arbitrary to me
I literally tried this place about an hour before this was released. The spicy fish and chips were the winner for me. The traditional fish and chips were also the best I’ve had too.
First time I've ever seen a Chippy put a layer of greaseproof paper under the fish so the chips don't get soggy especially if you're taking back home or get it delivered, def should be the standard
As a Morley lass (Miners Chippy massive) who works not far away from here have to say it is a fab spot. We regularly do runs there at work and have never had a bad portion. The lunch deals are good value too!
Absolutely wonderful. What a great video, what an amazing fish and chip shop, wonderful service. Deserves to be ranked as one of the very best fish and chip shops in Britain.
I would love to visit that shop It looks fantastic , the owner ,and his family are amazing That fish!!!!!! Was just beautiful looking , i could almost taste it Great shop, great food! Im going , im definitely going
Agreed, we are Brits in the UK, our son lives in Ohio, we took them to Florida a few years back and found a real brit owned fish and chip shop and it was excellent.
They are there but need some real hunting down . My sister emigrated to PA and married and I gor to Florida regularly , took us both 5 years to find a great one but they are there.
Once the wool capital of the world, very rich history. Danny's placed it on the map again. Great to keep the fish separate from the chips. Lad at 22:05 is the future star
I'm from Australia, my English parents emigrated in 1956 and had a family. I must say that owner was the BEST advertisement for cultural integration I've ever seen. What a stark contrast to those in the UK tearing it apart atm ...... you know who I mean .....
This one makes me want to book a flight from Australia to Bradford for a food tour. You'd be struggling to get a piece of fish like that from a regular takeaway in Melbourne.
That looks like one of the best fish & chips I've ever seen. Fish so succulent. Love also the look of the chicken curry. Chicken thigh is so underestimated. It's great value for money and it's full of flavour. When cooking a curry, a good mix is both chicken thigh and chicken breast! 👍
What a really nice chief & staff! Good sized potions, with great looking food. Love the idea of a ‘twin’ menu, to suit all tastes. Also sounds like he is very community based, as the thinking going into the name. Why is it, the North has so many great takeaways? Us down the South East, have nothing to compare to you.
Love it when the chips are all different sizes, means they are not bought in. The traditional fish and chips with the mushy peas, gravy and curry looked bang on. The spiced fish and chips looked good, but I'm going with the traditional just because. The chicken thigh curry looked home-made which has a nice touch to it.
Whatever you want bradfords got it, an for food I can’t think of any city better, the best food by far at cheapest prices what more can you ask for, cheaper even after adding the fuel costs of travelling there, get ya selves down there fellas
After your Tarantino's visit in Cleckheaton, the locals are playing heck :) It's now always packed out and delivery orders are over an hour late. They are so busy, they can't cope.
I really enjoy seeing the English fish and chips and what else is available. That looks amazing!! Here in Victoria Australia we enjoy flake, seafood sticks, potato cakes etc but sadly we don't have mushy peas and gravy which I miss.
We love the fish & chips from here, everything you say about them is spot on, there’s usually a wait for your order but it’s well worth the wait. We always take family here when they visit from the south.
you should try The Scran Man, they’re based in Birmingham, Perry Barr, and are known for having the best philly cheesesteaks in birmingham, they’re amazing!
