The characters are on VBM/DiM cards, the watch itself doesn't have them on it. They do come with one card though. I recommend waiting and getting a Vital Bracelet BE so if you want to get a Digimon (or any other monster franchise they put on the DiM cards, maybe they'll bring back the Medabots DiM card for VBBE) later, you don't need a separate one.
I recommend getting the custom wristband from ZeninTCG. Also, hate to break it to you, but you uploaded this video 10 days before the release of the more advanced (and slimmer) Vital Bracelet BE. Also, you can press the two buttons on the side to enter sleep mode, preventing your partner from dying when you're not wearing the VB.
I've been using my Kamen Rider VB since launch and I'm pretty satisfied by it. It's an inexpensive novelty watch for Kamen Rider fans (or any of the other VB variants) but if that's not your thing then definitely there are more functional devices available. Incidentally, your guy died because the VB measures your pulse which means you took the watch off for more than 24hrs without putting the character to sleep.
Bandai Japan owns a Pokemon toy license and made a Medabots DiM card for the Digimon VB/Vital Bracelet BE (which no longer requires a separate model for the VBM (super hero) cards) but not a Pokemon one. Which is weird because Kyurem and Necrozma can even use the jogress (DNA Digivolve) function and now with Scarlet and Violet they can even BS their way into another Omegamon knockoff like they did with Omedemon, a Jogress between the classic Medabots version mascots, Metabee and Rokusho.
I've been wearing either an Ultraman one or the Digimon one everyday for almost a year now. I've completed the codex of so many cards. You really have to use the app to get the special missions and stuff for progression.
They're not limited by franchise but type of franchise. One is for VBM (superhero) cards and the other is for DiM (monster franchise) cards. Course the only other monster franchise to get a DiM card so far is Medabots and the card is out of circulation (though it may come back for the upcoming VBBE model which can use both types of cards).
Hey Marcos, not sure if this is the right place to suggest this but would a video on Toku production in general be in the cards? I've always been interested in just what goes into filming and producing the movies and shows we all love and maybe it would be an interesting topic
I like the format of the video! I also want to point out that the newer model coming out, the Vital Bracelet BE, is much more forgiving. You can put them to sleep at any time (functionally a pause button) and you can also use any of the other Dim or Vbm cards. One device for Digimon, Kamen Rider, Ultraman, etc. It won't be for everyone, but for those interested I'd recommend waiting for the BE which comes out later this month.
@@mattwo7 not the original releases. The Digivice V does. Not sure about the VB Characters but the original VB Digimon only went to sleep at night and woke up in the morning.
what happens with the vital bracelet is that it emerged as a product of digimon, as a kind of evolution of the v-pet which in turn are an evolution of the tamagochi, so you could see your digimon evolve, have a ranking pvp, raids, etc with the app, and they give incentives for registering all the digimon of a dim, etc, it is a product that fits well with digimon because of how it works, even being the digivice of the current series (digimon ghost game), but someone from bandai came up with the idea release versions of kamen rider, ultraman, among others that have nothing to do with the concept
I was always wondering if there are exercises watches were every time you do exercises you get ex and level up, are there are other types of watches similar to this.
Is this related to that new vital hero toy line? if so, I can’t believe those two are already doing a crossover. if not, then this could potentially just be a Kamen Rider themed smart watch of sorts.
I got the EX-Aid VM and it works perfectly. Actually, since EX-Aid is my favorite, I only switch between EX-Aid and Genm (you can load up to two characters into the watch but can only use one at a time).
Idk why Bandai just doesn't release an app for existing watches. I have a galaxy watch, there are so many apps for custom faces even watch games. Why not just make this Rider-Gatchi as a downloadable app? I wouldn't mind spending 20 for an integrated pixelchibi that got achievements the more I walked. I already use my watch, I'm not going to throw it aside for a toy. Especially one targeted towards older fans.
I remember back when the Geats rumors were going around, scanning was a major part of the rumors, and some assumed that the VB was gunna be a major contender to Geats, before it was revealed it was gunna he buckles and stuff.
That doesn't seem to make too much sense considering part of the whole Kamen Rider aesthetic is having a transformation belt specifically. The only one that doesn't really have a transformation Belt I can think of is Diend, but even he has a belt, even if it doesn't do anything.
@@Medbread amazon, parado, thebee, Drake, sasword, ketaros, hercus, caucasus, zo, shin, all necroms, crimson vail, all of the hibiki onis I guess those guys just don't exist huh
@@Medbread also, technically Geats was gunna be different in terms of the the word transformation belt with the masks being the main transformation device and the belt being the weapon with the ability to scan chips and QR codes
What I think would be better is if they instead worked on this kind of thing with an existing established brand for special edition ones so you would get the normal full functionality of like a Fitbit Charge HR and so the business could focus on making a great layer on top of it like theming and interaction with a mobile app that was well done. Maybe have hitting certain goals collect points that can be used for extra art and stuff. Like... let's say a Fitbit with good quality pixel art on the interface that comes themed off of the special edition you bought and then the app on mobile use a modified version of the base Fitbit app except designed to allow theming from the vendor that has like little cute vector art motivational messages and stuff and you get points as you meet goals to to be used in a (free, based on the Rider your device has unlocked) gatcha for the art and motivational theming to be in different forms of the rider you can unlock and if you have enough points you can use them outright to bypass the gatcha and then if you want a rider that wasn't part of your original device, you could pay $10 or something for other rider series theming. But instead they try to do it more on their own ecosystem entirely and it provides a super mediocre experience. If they did something like that though they could also partner to sell bands and stuff that will fit their fitness devices but also the standard one theirs is based on.
@@gamercow4297 vital bracelet BE, its online phone app def chaotic and messed up, for be able to pit Ichigo vs Deku, while Ichigo (like the rest of "ancient obsolete unwanted" digimon/ultraman/KR dimcards) DOES NOT getting any boosted bonus stats from any of exercise. Bad way to nerfed old dim characters indeed.
Kamen rider on paper sounds great for the vb but using different riders instead of forms as evos really kills it for me. The vb works great a lot better over here in the digimon community
