Yeah cuz imagine u have a subtle twitch in your hands and normally you'd be fine but the strains cut that movement off and you start to panic real quick and have too control yourself
Silent Whisper thats why being in military is hard, you need restrain yourself from panic, thats what cause most people to drown. here in malaysia my grandfather use to be in the navy and one training that he never forget was hand and leg being tied then thrown of a boat into a muddy river. they have to swim onto the river bank while having to combat the river current.
C Williams he wasn't bresthing properly all you gotta do is take a whole breath in the breathe half your breaths so you always got some air in there Simple mistake
Obviously he is doing a easier challnege than a navy seal will do. Even so i think he nailed the difficulty of this exercises. Very few people will pass even those he did.
Dat Offensive Guy The Navy SEALs were created in the 60's under JFKs presidency during the Vietnam war. So yeah, his grandfather was probably a Navy SEAL
While I applaud his efforts, this wasn't the actual challenge. His hands and feet were free and that makes it easier psychologically, the pool length was shorter but it's tv
Guy: puts woman in elevator for 30 minutes Woman: puts guy through training which is used for a special type of army that is supposed to be adapted to the ocean
Easiest day in training right there. Plus you do the somersaults at the bottom of the pool. And there are no breaks between all the stuff you are doing. Still though, easiest day
To ensure he wasn’t cheating, they should’ve actually binded his arms and legs like the real SEALs do. Don’t say some “what if he drowns?” Because he has people there who can swim.
everyone is saying this is super easy and maybe it is for professional swimmers and people who swim everyday but this seemed kind of hard and exhausting for normal people who don't swim a ton
I am fat and 14. But a lot of that and possibly most of that I can do. The lengths with no hands or legs I have done. Bobbing I have done a bit. Floating I would practice at a little.
Dibab Oh i am obviously understanding of that but with his challenge he had to put his life in danger while there was no way anything could go wrong in her situation
Amanda Hagedorn come on now, I don’t think his life was in danger. He had the camera man, the big black dude as his instructor, and even the woman there to help him. Also, at any time, the dude could just give up and swim out.
Some name that includes an emo band Same bro they are some nublets These beginners are trying to jump back to the top from the bottom meanwhile I go down do a bunch of 1080 spins and come back up
but this isnt used the way swim teachers do it, this is meant to make your mind clear out and overcome the fears that you have in the water. The way swimmers use it is just a way to make your body, and mind a bit more advanced then others through practice
AndrewJay's Investigations of the Unknown butterfly kicks use mainly your core but you do you Use your legs and feet. Buzz feed need to get their facts right
AndrewJay's Investigations of the Unknown they don't need to be tied up if they were captured they'd have their head chopped of if we talking about Iraq or Afghanistan
AndrewJay's Investigations of the Unknown My uncle was a navy seal and I had so much respect for him but now some how I have even more this is tough. I want to go into the air force and maybe navy to be a carrier pilot.
Ryan L and I swim without goggles in 8 feet of water... and float on top of it for about 5 minutes, Its really easy to just let go of everything and lay still and you'll be fine
Respect to the SEAL’s dude, they would do this on a way bigger scale with way more stuff included as well, this is just a challenge for civilians to try out. I know the usual one consist of this in a way bigger pull and a lot of calisthenics and running afterwards with absolutely no breaks.
The only "difficult" one would be the floating on your back. Because I can't even do that with my arms and legs. But as a swimmer, all those other things are literally drills you do at practice
Josh C PJ as in Pararescue Jumpers? You do know that the SE in SEAL stands for Sea? BTW he executed these drills incorrectly. He should've been tied up at the hands and the feet and if "SEAL waterstuff" is a joke everybody would be a SEAL. Sounds like we have a keyboard commando here!
My brother had to do this. When it was time to jump off the high dive he had no idea that they would push him off so when they did, he freaked out and almost drowned. But when he retook the test and he passed and was in the Navy for two years.
Well I doubt 4-6, because this training is specifically for Navy SEAL training so they usually are in the service until they are just under 40 years of age. So unless your bro passed when he was 37-38 then I don't know... And they don't accept people over 30 unless they are officers which cuts off at 32 so I don't understand I guess...😂😂😂
SEALs don't have to stay in until they retire... the contract is only 6 years (two years training four years in) then they can re-enlist if they want. What she's talking about her brother was probably in the reserves because (If i remember correctly) reserves can be two year contracts.
He actually failed the whole thing.. The real way to do this is you're suppose to jump in the pool and do 15 bobs, then you float for 3 min, then you travel 50m with dolphin kick, Then You're suppose to do 15-20 bobs then go right into a front flip at bottom of the pool and then do 5 more bobs then you do a back flip at the bottom, then after that 5 more bobs then recover your mask with your teeth and do 5 bobs with the mask in between your teeth. I will upload a video of me demonstrating this tonight!i am training for Pararescue and they do the same thing.
It's not the same because you don't have your arms physically tired that's a whole different mind game when you have your hands constrained and you can't pull them from behind your back try to keep calm in that situation
Barry Hays Bro we had a navy seal come to our water polo team asking if anyone was interested in joining. When he told us some of the stuff we had to do we just laughed at how easy it was. Obviously there is more to it then swimming, but for people who basically live in the water, it's nothing.
SyndicateAllTheWay the guys that go to do the recruiting aren’t actually seals at all. They just do that as a job while they’re recruiting. The actual seals usually just go back to be instructors while they’re on shore duty. So the guy that went to talk to you was most likely not a seal or ever saw any of the training. ButWe do go to water polo teams cuz those guys usually have the best chance of passing! Even then though the passing rate is still like 6 guys out of 200 so not as easy as anyone thinks
wow i am i the only one who thinks this guy is *a t t r a c t i v e* edit: lmao why does everyone think im gay, im a girl and think a guy is attractive xD
