I TRIED THE RUBBER BAND METHOD!

Here are the steps broken down!
1. Clean ya scalp and hair. I work in an anti dandruff shampoo with my fingers/scalp massager to ensure both a clean scalp and clean hair strands.
2. Moisturize and Detangle that thang. Using a conditioner with slip, I coat my hair strands from root to tip while gently removing any shed hair strands.
3. Deep Condition for 15 minutes!
4. Part the hair. Parting out all of your sections and clipping them out of the way is definitely a STRATEGY. I like dat.
5. Apply water. Leave in and gel to the section of hair.
6. Place a small amount of edge control at the base of the braid [(honestly optional) to avoid puffy roots unless that’s ya thang! DO YOU!]
7. Brush at the root lightly and tie that rubber band around it.
8. BRAID!
9. Cha Cha real slow out of the bathroom because you DESERVE to feel good after braid your own hair. That was a lot of work.
