I have baked this cake several times using all purpose flour. It is still delicious. I also have added coconut and rum extract to it with the butter almond and vanilla for the five flavor pound cake. Still delicious. You cannot go wrong with this cake. Thank you for sharing it. Beautiful family.❤

Ms. Teresa, do I have the challenge for you! Take your basic recipe but use the dump method and bake in a cold oven at 275F. Use a recipe that you are familiar with (preferably inexpensive) in case it’s a failure.😂 I recently baked a cake cold oven 275 and the color was gorgeous. Do you accept this challenge?
