you should also report them, even though it may seem harmless, you never know what else they are doing, while pretending to be you. Trust me, i found out the hard way with people like that. also its fraud what they are doing. its far too easy to set different accounts up with no checks.

I do love this look on you and her! I think what everyone forgets is that everyone’s face is different, so you can try to follow the way someone contours but it won’t always be the same. I had my makeup done for my wedding and did a trial a few months before with the artist I had hired. In the trial she did half my face one way, and half another. One side she used a cool color contour and really gave me that Kim K chiseled look and she explained where she was putting the contour on me and why and how she might place it differently for the same effect on another person. Also on the other side she did more of a diffused and softer warm toned bronzer. Seeing both side by side was wild. I actually went with the Kim K look because it looked AMAZING in photos and in real life it looked mostly good but it some lighting, you could definitely see my face was “painted on” anyway just thought I’d share my interesting experience/process

this is a similar situation that happened to me ... I did a full face of makeup for my international passport, and when I was crossing the border in the middle of the night half asleep after an 8-hour queue in a tourist bus, the border guards looked at me, then at my photo in the passport several times 😂😂

I'm not even allowed to wear my prescription glasses for ID photos. We've always been told here (Canada) that you aren't allowed to wear makeup and you can't have anything blocking out/changing your face or features. Even when I had bangs they'd tell me to part them a little to make sure you could fully see my eyes and eyebrows lol

I literally just took my passport pics like 2 weeks ago. It would’ve been nice to have had this tutorial beforehand cause my pictures didn’t turn out too great, but at least passport pics are known for being awful lol. I love how the makeup turned up on you at the end Sophie! Love the cheek contour brought further down on you!

I do my eyebrows first! I use the got2b glued stuff, wipe the excess off around my skin with a makeup wipe, then I carve the top of my eyebrows out with my foundation and blend up my forehead so I don’t need to get my brush or sponge too close to my brows 🫶🏽

Yes Revlon is filing for bankruptcy . It is so sad that such an iconic brand which has been around for decades is suffering. I don’t see beauty RU-vidrs using them as much as other older drugstore brands like Maybelline and L’Oreal so I wonder if people think they aren’t keeping up with the the way modern make up is going.

Huge miscommunication… They’re filing for chapter 11 bankruptcy meaning they are bankrupt and reassessing their finances, so products may come and go soon. They just got approved to borrow $375 million. This doesn’t mean they are going out of business, that would be chapter 7 bankruptcy. Articles should have been more clear about it as the average consumer doesn’t know a ton about all the types of bankruptcy and that it doesn’t straight up mean going out of business.

i dont do my eyebrows in like my daily routine but for bigger looks i do eyebrows first!!! i tend to outline both brows in concealer so then when i do my foundation i can blend it into the concealer and not struggle trying to get close without getting foundation in my brows!!!!

After. I use a detail brush around them to carve them out (but with either the foundation or a concealer that matches my foundation - not a lighter one) then I can apply the rest Of my foundation without worrying about going too close.

Wow, you looked stunning Soph. Have you tried holding your mirror slightly to the side rather than in front of the camera when doing your makeup? It may help avoid your face going blurry coz the autofocus focuses on the mirror rather than your face. Just a thought. Love you Soph x

When I carve my eyebrows (top and bottom) I use my foundation so I don’t need to get that close to that area. Hope that helps. Love your work!

I do my eyebrows in 2 stages. Before foundation I use pencil and carve out the shape using concealer, using the concealer line as a guide and blend it out with the foundation. Then once my whole face is done I do clear brow gel to set the shape and top with a little tinted gel to define the hairs.

I usually do my eyebrows first so... I don't use a ton of foundation because it'd get cakey on me (also, I usually have bangs) and my brush is rather small and stiff so it's easy to go around.

I do my brows with just powder strikes befor foundation and use my foundation for carving them out on top and under use a little brush for blending over and under the brow and then after foundation blending i us a eyebrow gel

Yes it is true. Revlon doesn't do too much. The do lipsticks and they did just come out with a gripping primer I love for oily skin. Other than that, I'm not Suprised

i was thinking that’s a lot of bronzer but it makes sense cus of the lights. i’m in theatre, and the bright lights are similar to those where you get your passport. we always have to put on heavy makeup with lots of bronzer and contour before shows because the lights wash you out so much! it’s insane you could literally end up looking like a ghost without it lol

I do my brows before because I find the effect gels/soap brows has on the foundation around them is worse abs I just fill in the patches that get tinted by foundation with brow powder

We did our passport applications online, so chose somewhere in the house that had flattering lighting to take the pictures, photo booths are super harsh.

A little tip, it's actually better not to have too much makeup to passport photo because then you can not use the electronic gates. I've done nice makeup to passport photo and now unless I do full makeup before every flight it does not let me go through the gates 🙈

For me it depends on how much effort I put in, as well as I don't apply any products to my forehead becuase I have a fringe so I dont bother. I just apply foundation to my face and a bit of concealer on my eyelids. I'm not a huge carved out eyebrow look so even if I use bro soap I mainly only use it for if I'm going somewhere all day and want them to be stuck down all day and night and even then, im not that fussed. I have no idea if any of this makes sense 😂

I have foundation but I don’t wear it I prefer to use concealer as a foundation because it’s more easier and before I apply concealer I use a setting pray I let it dry then use concealer or I use something from a brand called laneige it makes my makeup stay for like a long time I recommend it if it doesn’t work for you find something else that works with your skin also I really like laneige lip mask it has helped my lips bring back color

My passport photo looks like a mugshot. In the US, we’re no longer allowed to smile and you have to tuck your hair behind your ears. Also the lighting in my mine is super shadowy and awful 😭.

I put makeup on last year for my id. What's funny is that I tried a more no makeup makeup look and I look so weird. I remember the lady tell me to take off my glasses (weird I always had them in my photos) then to expose my ears because they need to see everything. Like what? That's so weird. But the lady didn't comment on my makeup at all.
