Just be sure to be off the meds otherwise will fighting an uphill battle also chances are your hair pattern will change it wouldn't look like it did before the meds, I have been on a similar journey but I kept my hair short. Continue to use some home made conditioners to nourish the hair, always remember to keep moisture in it. I'm order to build the curl pattern. Good luck on your journey.

Here in Nigeria there are some who use the fine power mixed with some natural oils,apply it on wet hair and braid it then leave it for some days to a week and wash. Just stop using the heat n continue to nourish it with DIY conditioners to get your curl pattern back. Heat takes away the curl pattern n definition.
