I just found your channel and fell in love with it and I couldn’t believe that you didn’t have hundreds of thousands of subscribers yet!? Your content is so high quality you deserve so much. I have hooded eyes, oily and textured skin, this channel is the biggest gem for me I swear 😭💗💗 keep up the great work!!
Thank you so much for your kind words!🩷 it truly means the world to me!!! I was mainly creating content on other platform, and I just recently started doing RU-vid! I love it here🤍
I’m so glad you tried this one out! I started getting acne scars and visible pores when I was 12, so it made me insecure about my face. Finding a good makeup tutorial for textured skin is always tricky, as some influencers tend to use filters, etc. So happy you tried this out, I now know that his tutorial is actually reliable and educational! Thank you for this. Also, I love your enthusiasm! You’re so passionate and it is so lovely to see. You earned a new subscriber.😊
Whoa, he used to filter the shabittels out of the videos and pictures! I'm glad he stopped doing that. Everybody has textured skin, pores are a very important part of our skin! I rember seeing ads when I was a kid in the early 90s (yeah, I'm that old..), quite often they just had a soft blur filter, but year by year more was used and the models looked like puppets. I don't buy from brands that filter their models and swatches anymore. I want to see how a product really looks! Btw your bare, textured, normal human face looks beautiful ♥️ I really love these videos from you, keem them coming! Oh, I incorporated Dear Peachy's tricks to make the eyes look larger and it's definitely a game changer for us hooded eye gals!
I don't think I've ever noticed the filters... But that just says a lot about being so used to filters in the past. I also grew up in the 90s haha! Thank you for your kind words! I love showing how products look like on unfiltered skin😍
That fragranced Elemis cream has nothing in it to warrant the above $100 price tag. No peptides. No ceramides. For Normal to oily skin the Pacifica Ceramide face lotion is really nice under makeup; under $20, also has shea butter, but on top of that it also has has ceramides, emollients, soothing ingredients, like chamomille, allantoin & beta glucan, i could keep going. Personally, i use the Prequel Barrier therapy Cream at night ( 10 oz for $18!) And in the morning instead of washing my face i just splash with water and apply sunscreen. My skin gets too irritated if i wash my face twice a day. The Elf Holy Hydration Serum is also lovely and actually a lotion, not a serum. Great ingredients & under $15. Could keep going😅 of course, but these are solid options for normal to oily skin.
The reference makeup looks so dated and old fashioned. Like pageant makeup. I guess teens would think its cool because it looks dated. When i see them walking around i feel like they are going to a movie set for an 80's commercial.
@@ananeganova I think it's the combination of the updo, the highlighted under eyes, the dramatic lashes, and the cool purple diffused upwards that gives me the pageant vibe. Its interesting; If I think about choosing one thing to take away to make it look less dramatic.. I guess I'd choose to tone down the eyes.😊 But you are right, she looks great. Its simply a look for more formal events.
