a Deli x Sims Mid-Century kit would slap

i have no idea if deli and trixie are friends but if this HAS to be for her. trixie has been unwell lately and everything ab this build screams her!!

My mind was absolutely blown watching you do the landscapping. I could never. The pink is so cute too! It's like a Barbie dreamhouse for when Barbie gets married, has kids, and is working on her career.

I remember in the middle of covid, Miley Cyrus started to make her own "instagram show" where she was live everyday. She had a housetour, and ever since then i just love her style. Kim Kardashian have a big mansion, but in my eyes there's no personality there from what i have seen. But in Miley's house, there's books, art, music instruments, all kind of color. It's just her! Shes always been so energetic. Her couch are in so many different colors.

It's giving Trixie.

A pink Malibu dollhouse, with artworks that celebrate the LGBT community, for an artistic person, long-time simmer, loves makeup, doesn't drink, who has been sick lately. References to podcasts, wigs, makeup lines. I guess we will be seeing this house in a Trixie Mattel video very soon. Ahah

The "peep hole" you described to be able to move food from the kitchen to dinning room is called a "pass through" to literally be able to pass the food/dishes thru to the other room.used to be popular in mid century+ era homes before open plan became a thing. As to practically, i think it depends very much on your lifestyle, a closed off/separate kitchen and dining room has the benefit of hiding the mess in the kitchen and reducing kitchen smells in the rest of the house ves open plan being able to still be part of the conversation/ family when in the kitchen. I think a pass through has the downsides of both the closed off and open plan kitchen/dining room combos as you still aren't part of the party/family in the kitchen (imagine trying to have a conversation thru the "hatch" whilst cooking with stuff boiling/frying etc, the extractor fan on etc) and also kitchen smells & a "window" to still view the mess. Personally I think you need to decide whether you care about the mess/smells or want to be included/part of the family/party as you can't have both. My boomer mother is a fan of the closed off kitchen, appearances matter to her despite her not enjoying being cut off from others during festivities. Personally i (millennial) prefer open plan style, if were having a dinner, its obvious food was cooked! Im not going to all that effort just to be stuck in the kitchen by myself! However I live in an apartment, the living and dining room are 1 room which the kitchen is off of, however the door is always open to allow conversation but id prefer a fully open plan layout but i don't think it's allowed for fire safety reasons in apartments.

This build matches the homes in my neighborhood IRL. I live in a part of LA that has a lot of mid century builds that have been modernized. & of course, all the palm trees are very much Cali lol.

I think of coherent as sounding like it has "hear" in it so it's about being heard correctly. Cohesive sounds a bit like adhesive, so it's about things "sticking" together so they have to go together 😁

I love the design of the build!! I wanted to let you know that I wish we had a square shelf in the Sims, not a cupboard, but just the shelf for the corners that way we can make a 1 x 1 closet or layer the shelves and the cabinets in rooms for more space to put nic nacks. You can also put the square shelves between half walls and make little makeshift cabinets.

The half circle sink, I think it’s the first one for the in-counter sinks, that’s a bathroom sink. We do need more options though.

I grew up in a split level and am always trying to build them in the sims lol Yours came out really good! Chocolate and pink is throwing me back to 2004 prom lol Also, totally get your eyes checked! I was scrunching a lot and getting migraines but I always had perfect vision, then decided to get an eye exam in 2021 just to check - turns out I'd developed a very minor astigmatism BUT the glasses were lifechanging!! No more migraines, I can read for hours again, it's amazing lol

This is SOOOOO GOOD! You killed it Deli! 🥹 Also, can we just say how FIRE a collaborative build challenge with Deli and Syd Mac would be?? They both are insanely good builders and we know Syd LOVES some landscaping!

On the other hand, if you have seasons and the electronics get rained on and break, you can repair them to build handiness skill. Otherwise, you could plop down a couple columns and a clear roof to maintain a similar outdoor vibe.
