Guys, initially this problem existed, but now you can find more or less everything, the thing that disgusts me is the markup that the shopkeepers make on €100 products by selling them for €300 and the extra profit generated , in practice only the players are the ones screwed by the system as the shopkeepers will march on our passions for their own profit. And I'm not saying that the products shouldn't increase in price: But on day one or as soon as an expansion is released, if it is successful, there is an immediate price increase based on the prices that online scalpers make. Before, buying in a comic book store was different, now they seem like sellers Random online for their prices.

Cap English one piece is getting inexpensive im getting my second wave of OP09 for 107 each just gotta shop smart and don’t buy from scalpers or overpriced LGSs I get my OP01 for no more than 150 a box this is robbery

Yeah but they’re most likely Japanese versions. You can only play using the English version with the exception of some local tournaments

You obviously have never ran a shop… It has nothing to do with the store and everything to do with the supplier. A store can only get as much as a supplier will give them…

It’s better to understock and sell out than overstock and never sell. Basic business

@@sarahdennis3291not necessarily. it could easily be the first case as he said.

This was mainly a problem with the manufacturer itself. The first 2-3 sets and structure decks were so under printed it caused these shortage and prices. Stores got their initial shipment on release (which was capped since supply was so low) and that was it. They couldn't order or get more from any distributor. It's been fixed for the most part since this vid, but it definitely hurt the game and getting new players.

​@@ovechkin100yeah it definitely isnt, and it completely blows yu gi oh out of the water considering the multiple formats and the fact that games last more than 2 turns. Oh and the art, design, legible text.... Just about everything!

My advice: stick to ygo. MTG is in an abysmal state, with product only being made for one format and relevant product being printed biweekly at some points. ygo has been in a healthy state for a while now and seems to be the case for the next year+. As an MTG player, I am already looking to go back to ygo.

@@manporo5865 yeah i don’t plan on ever playing it competitively to be real i just thought id learn it because all my friends play it and only like two of them play yugioh and i tried it for the first time last night and had a pretty good time. yugioh will always be superior in my eyes either way because there’s nothing in mtg that’s iconic to me
