People think I've lost my mind yelling at my phone at that moment. It seemed so obvious to me. Too bad all my opponents never seem yo miss them when I play them
I thought that was going to be his intentional blunder but then I realised at the end he wasn’t sure he’d even made one! Unfortunately he didn’t spot it in the game review either.
I do like your style. But you sometimes go so quickly in the analysis you miss some really obvious and important things. For example, at 4:36 you were looking at a move that could prevent the fork of the rook and queen by the knight on e6. If you move the queen - as you did - you lose the exchange on f8. But what about remembering that bishops move backwards as well as forwards. The reason white played Qe2 is that they realised that if you kick the knight with h6 the knight has nowhere to go. So the queen has to move to e2 to allow the knight to go to e6. Had your bishop been on c8 I am sure you would have seen Bxe6. But because you had played Bf5 you failed to see that the bishop could go backwards and capture the knight on e6. Of course, white would capture back with the queen and with check but this is better than losing the exchange on f8. This would leave the game about level.
Love these videos so much. Its so instructive for me (~500 elo) to hear the thought process behind each move and plan, and the guy has such a pleasant personality. Thanks for uploading!
I know a GM. I showed them this video and they said it kind of looks staged. they said they think you scripted the moves in this game. Is this scripted???
Wouldn’t he scrip it so he wins the game OR his challenge to get every type of move? For a GM probably all mortal games look staged because “why would anybody play so bad”. 🤷🏻♂️
@@goodyKoeln yea idk i love Cornered Chesses content tho fr. but the GM told me its clearly scripted. i guess GM eyes are different than average players eyes. hope its not scripted
