I think a neat challenge would be to improve your house each time you remove a challenge, but in such a way that it makes sense. For example for dog hangout: build a fence, for foxes,: have a bin shed, vampire nexus: put up garlic, mould: get a better roof with no holes etc.

SPIN THAT WHEEL! 😂 To remove the Haunted House Residential trait you could have it that Samaj has to befriend all the spirits on the lot, including Guidry and Bonehilda

Ideas for removing haunted house: having to get the brave trait (8,000 pts) and/or getting a paranormal license and maxing the career.

“Hey honey! Did you hear about the new neighbor that moved into that cursed property by the harbour? Yeah, I was talking to him at the bar and he said he had ambitions to build a rocket in his yard, become a wizard AND he goes to the park to breed frogs and shower in the rain. What a swell guy!”

There's only 17 things you can "remove" with the goals. I say add 7 more items to the wheel. Maybe plus Simoleons like 1, 5, 10, 100, 500, 1K, 5K for example. That way, you have to do all of the challenges.

I really needed a laugh today and seeing Semaj, Lilith and Francine keep slipping on the ghost puddles was a highlight

For the haunted house: could it be to complete the medium skill and befriend Bonehilda and Gudry. Or get like a 3 or more stars in a freelance paranormal work.

Semaj should need to do the paranormal career to get rid of the haunted house. Also, I just rewatched the last series a few weeks ago so I’m so happy to see it again!

I would love to see a challenge where you do everything that is offered. For example, any time someone calls to hang out, or donate money, or get married. Or any of the calls that come in you have to do them no matter what you are in the middle of.

for an extra challenge you could vote in one of the more annoying neighbourhood action plans, like the ones where you get fined if you don't comply, or the one where they take your stuff. and you can make a lot of money from befriending the specters and also actually become a celebrity from selling the stuff they give you, so you could then fight the paparazzi.

As a companion to the grilled cheese aspiration, when giving gifts to spectres you should always give them either grilled cheese, or something you found in the prairie grass

Seeing expensive food and deciding "maybe I'm not that hungry actually" is relatable

It would make it less difficult, but if you're home at 9:30 pm when Guidry appears, him being there and awake will keep the gremlins away and nothing will break.

An extra challenge could be accepting every like/ dislike and new trait that pops up. So Semaj would have to dislike handiness and be paranoid on top of everything else

There are more challenges to remove than challenges to do, though so, here's a few ideas... - have a work rivalry - get the blessing of the sun (JA) complete the werewolf relic collection -collect the skulls from the day of the dead - reach charisma level 10 without using the mirror -. attend the turtle hatching in Sulani - get hit by Crumplebottom's purse - win a vegetable contest at the fair - gift a death flower floral arrangement - wear the forbidden sweater (NK) - reach the top of mount komorebi/woohoo in the cave

This is pure chaos! Also, the look Semaj gave "the audience" when he became a spell caster :D that was priceless!

Semaj's neighbor comes over to fix stuff and is completely flirty with him- sounds like someone was expecting some compensation for her help.

Maybe you could remove the haunted house residential as a reward for completing one of the three really hard ones (go to sixam, go to the forgotten grotto and lift the curse of the night wraith)

I think something you should add to the list is get hit by Agnes Crumplebottom's purse 😂 not difficult but you'd have to go out of your way to do it and it's always dramatic when it happens. Storytime: My sim was in a nightclub hitting on Mortimer and got "Crumplebottomed" and then the entire nightclub's population ended up mysteriously knocked out on the floor just a few minutes later. Everyone except Agnes Crumplebottom. Iconic.

To remove the haunted house, woohoo with Guidry, Temperance and Bonehilda.

yay!! i think you should turn NPC voting off and then cheat in some annoying NAPs, like the sharing is caring one - except you don't get to use it to your benefit. even adding some and not doing the necessary things will push bills up, so that would add a challenge. and then add them to the spinny wheel and cheat them off when they pop up 🙌🏽 you could even replace them with the two cool ones that make the neighbourhood nice, to accompany you improving your house (modern development and green initiatives or something like that).

To get rid of the haunted residential trait you could marry bonehilda. This was a great start to this mini series and it’s nice to see James enjoying himself a lot more hopefully the sims team cracks on with fixing bugs. Hope everything all good James and new puppy doing well

Also, I think the hand item in buy mode for paranormal stuff gives you the ability to choose the difficulty of the haunting, maybe you could go from super haunted to less haunted before getting rid of it. Also, you could add the challenge of having to agree to every phone call as a challenge. So Bess calls up, there goes all your money lol

To get rid of Vampire Nexus, Semaj should have to become a vampire! That will also take care of the "transform into an occult" goal

This is the greatest idea ever. I've been trying to complete each of these myself in a single game but doing this as a rags to riches with extra challenges is HILARIOUS. So excited!

james for future reference, you can look for frogs an unlimited amount of times in that pond! sometimes you'll be unsuccessful but you can just keep clicking look for frogs! so much easier than running around for the logs :)

I would take out the harder challenges from the wheel and apply those to specific harder tasks on the checklist - like say you can remove the haunted house lot trait when you made ambrosia or when you got that specific spellcaster curse removed. Just to make it harder and more fun of course :)

I definitely thought this was gonna be too easy when i read the idea on Reddit. Now im thinking maybe not so easy lol. I love challenging gameplay as well! Looking forward to the rest of this series

I would count the fire! The game notified you of a fire and blocked you from certain actions because of the fire on the lot. Seems legit to me! 🔥👀

A fun challenge: have a sim born that's 1) pure alien, 2) has a human skin tone, 3) has Sulani Mana, 4) has Father Winter's Baby. The Impossible Sim Challenge. No other Sims RU-vidr has a chance of figuring it out. Not for this lot challenge series, but an idea worth throwing out.

Maybe create two wheels based on the ease of the checklist? Easier tasks (showering in the rain) lets you spin the smaller challenges wheel and harder tasks allow you to spin the bigger challenges wheel (haunted house, etc)

I feel like being able to travel to any world at any time for free is OP, maybe only allow it once Semaj knows someone from that world (since Sims from other worlds will show up in yours). Or you can save for a bicycle to travel or only allow travel if someone will willingly come with him or only if someone invites him You could also enable the worst NAPS and make Semaj veto them also you could make Semaj an elder, that adds the challenge of not being able to do too many strenuous activities but not sure how applicable that would be in this playthrough

To change from a haunted house to a normal one could be something like Summon and talk to Gaudry or what ever the dudes name is and get to a certain amount of money to pay him to get rid of the haunting

Completing a household collection in order to remove haunted house or the nerd brain aspirations since you have to work on rocket science skill anyways.

Not that I ever spend any time in Forgotten Hollow, but I’ve noticed that there was like a secret cave in the world. James walked past it around the 9 minute mark 👀

The bad eco footprint could probably integrate well with this challenge!

The original series of this is one of my favorites of yours. I just started rewatching it again last night and now here you are with a new one! I agree the first half was slow but it got so much better as it continued. I'm shocked that you were able to cook all those grilled cheese sandwiches without the stove catching on fire from the Cursed trait. That was such a problem in the first series. Can't wait to see the next episode of this. So much better than the For Rent series (not because of you but because of the stupid bugs). If you want high value items and a cow plant berry, you should fish off the dock in Magnolia Promenade. High probability of cow plant berries, dragonfruit and voodoo dolls in a short time fishing.

I think that achieve a Brave trait would be one of the missions to complite
