The deteriorating condition of farmers in India has us all sympathizing but how many of us really did something about it? When you believe in what you can do, you can achieve anything and everything. And that is what exactly she did! An engineer by profession, she quit her IT job and joined SBI youth for India Fellowship where she got an opportunity to work on rural development.
The idea of working on-ground and implementing different solutions excited her. The objective of her project is to empower small-scale farmers through ZBNF so they can maximise output and reduce their dependency on external resources. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at www.ted.com/tedx

Convincing a community of farmers to experiment for efficient farming is really an achievement, well done and thank you. And that the farmer community listened and collaborated is truly commendable, something Indians as a community should aspire to achieve.

A very good initiative. Convincing farmers to change in itself is a great challenge. Well done and wish you very best in your endeavour.

Natural farming works for: 1. Engineer farmers 2. Rural management graduates 3. Well read farmers 4. Well travelled people. The common villager fails. (My experience and observation over 15 years)

Did you plan to take this idea or the complete process from land preperation to cultivation and the most important thing marketing of the final product to the big level (Nationwide). So, that each and every farmer can get benefited.

@@dpohane Do we need facts to define a boring video? It's unwatchable due to the pathetic presentation by the speaker. I had to stop in few minutes.

@@vinaypandey8116 You won't judge that it's a "BAKWAAS" ppt if u know the hard work of farmers....jz encourage these people who are at least helping the farmers in their own kind....it's not for entertaining purpose..if you want entertainment u have an option to skip it but don't comment with such words!!
