What the hell! You paid alimony for a year and child support though she cheated and you had 50% of custody? That is how you know the law isn't fair.

Even in an at fault state the higher earner has to maintain the cheater's life style for a time. Be thankfull it used to be worse Women in FLA are losing their minds right now since they got rid of lifetime alimony. It's the only income they ever had.

The law is based on keeping the children's quality of life the same or better. It's not about the adults at that point. It's what's best for the children.

@@Scorpius7-l5hlifetime alimony should never had been a thing, ever. And I'm a woman. Like. You're married in your 20s and you're still paying her in your 60s with 30 years divorced. No. Heck no.

The courts are very anti male.

OP is clearly a smart guy. He called the police before confronting and he saw through her BS story. I applaud him for handling an awful situation so well.

Crazy how some of the most depraved of cheaters freak out and get hysterical when their spouse leaves them. She knowingly had another man’s baby. She wasn’t using protection, so she also risked OP’s health. Slap paternity fraud on top of that, and I’m not sure how it could be much worse. I think the problem here is lack of maturity and too much entitlement. Lack of good risk/reward judgement. Too many cake eaters in today’s world.

How can a woman claim to love her husband to this extent and still cheat on him? Boggle my mind.

Translation: she loves his resources but loves chad/tyrones when it comes to bed

They don't see it the same way. Female cheaters start out by rationalizing that it was just a man showing her attention and how could her husband get upset that she is getting attention from another man, unless he is insecure. Something along that line of reasoning runs through her head.

Soul mates! Such BS. I don't know if OP can erase the memory of his wife getting pounded into the sofa. Very sad 😢😢

When he went home, called the police and then went into his home, he found the baby in the children's bedroom. In most States, I think, I'm not a lawyer, that would be considered child endangerment and that is grounds for requesting full custody of the children.

I'm realistic enough to know people can change if they want to. I also believe that most people deserve a second chance and shouldn't be judged or vilified based on the whatever mistakes they made in the past. HOWEVER, I don't think this woman has learned her lesson based on her track record with OP and the new husband. Something tells me she's gonna have at least 3 (ex) baby daddies going forward...🤦

that's a lot of baby daddies but I know of a man that has six baby mommas. His life consists of always trying to hide from child support services, as soon as they locate him he goes back into hiding, he has a back support tab he will never be able to pay in his life time. You would think he would learn his lesson but no he is still out there screwing around.

Oh, don't be a hero to yourself. Nothing wrong with facebook. It is all about how you use it. Being deaf, facebook replaces the phone for me to connect with my family/friends.
