Tips for this tower: 6:35 I recommend jumping on the first one stud, then skipping the second. 6:44 Jump onto the second one stud, then skip the third. 7:22 Don't go left for this jump, go right and try to climb onto the truss up there. Make sure you don't hit your head on the truss, this is a one of the hardest jumps in the tower. 8:28 Go onto the conveyor, then stand still. Once the conveyor pushes you onto the next platform that falls, begin moving forward. 10:32 You can skip this whole section, do what you did here Tips for later in the tower: Once you go outside on the purple floor, there is a slide that will trip you once you go on it. Once you get on the slide, jump to get out of tripping. The reason is that this part isn't safeguarded, and sliding down normally will likely result in you falling. Optional skip, hard but I think it's work it: The final floor has a lot of 3x3 falling platforms, specifically two parts where it'll spam them in a straight line. On the second line of 3x3 falling studs, there is a skip near the end of it where you can jump up to another platform. It's a hard skip, but its worth it. Make sure you're facing forward for this skip, as you need to climb onto the platform. Also, for this jump, you have to jump, then go forward. If you go forward for the entire jump, you will land underneath the platform and not make it. So, jump, then wait a few tenths of second, then begin going forward. Its complex, but worth it.
I'm glad to see you're still going with jtoh! First off, i have some tips for you, just like everyone else lol. My tip is to not listen to tips a lot. While yes, since you are a beginner, experienced people will give you tips. Some good tips I've seen in your comment section is to keep your camera above your head for most of the jumps and to find forgotten ridge. Other than that, you can play the game however you want. The signs don't need to be read, however, in the last video you were in the shop, wondering how to get the tickets you buy stuff with, all while there was a sign next to you explaining just that. Signs explain stuff so yeah, if there's anything you're confused with, you'll most definitely find your answer inside of the game ( most of the times ) GOOD LUCK with ToH, it's where most people quit, and we hope you aren't most people
Good job on attempting Tower of Hecc! It was the first tower added into the game and probably the most iconic one, it has many traps throughout the tower to trick you and make you fall, it has the initial approach of the game (that is still prevalent today) of being a rage game that just tries to make you fall all the way to the start with plenty of fair and unfair ways, also, the first floors are the easiest floors of the tower!! I recommend watching a tutorial for the last floor due to the amount of unfair traps and wacky jumps for newcomers it has, so look out for that, also, some extra information about the game: this game has 3 types of worlds; Rings which are the ones you have been playing so far and are located in “The Great Inferno” which is the area you’ve been playing on, in this area you descend throughout all layers of hell until you reach the final stretch; Zones, that you can access through the ring select that opens a whole new world with different towers called “The Spacial System” where you ascend into space (I do however not recommend you play on this realm yet because it is harder and has harder progression that the great inferno); and subrealms that can be found in both The Great Inferno and The Spacial System, these are areas inside rings and zones that you can access that have more towers you can choose to play, for example, the subrealm of ring 1 (which is the ring you’re on right now) is the forgotten ridge that you can access by doing a secret obby you can find by exploring the lobby (and maybe read some very convenient and self explanatory signs that could help you find it). Anyways I do recommend you choose whatever progression you thing its best to take for you throughout the game and hope you dont rage too hard over these harder towers!
about your editing style, while it most likely works for other videos, mostly uncut content works the best for obby videos like this one, as you can kind of "feel" what you're going through more that way
also some people have compiled lists of copyrighted and non-copyrighted music in most towers, you could ask the comments to post lists for future towers you attempt, check the comment, and turn on/off the music based on the list you're given
Forgotten ridge next episode!!! (Btw ToK has NEaT in it) (Also Tower of Hecc was actually released in 2018 which is also the first ever JToH tower, so it actually came out after adopt me)
There are indeed half studs (thin studs) but there are even smaller studs, and for tightropes go to first person and make sure your cursor is at the tightrope when you walk on it
there are some towers that have traps like invisible paths and invisible conveyors. this is due to them being built in the old days, the days when this game was meant to be a rage game. so expect some old towers to have these weird traps
I’ve been watching you from the start, and I feel as if you can definitely make an impact on the community if you invest yourself enough. Glad to see the consistency in videos and keep up the good improvement.
The Jtoh progression (side note I just realized this) is kinda weird in a way, since jumping from a medium to a hard is kinda a big jump considering hard, is the difficulty where people usually quit the game, which does genuinely make you go either. You go beat ToH and progress to ring 2, or you find forgotten ridge and beat 2 steeples there and unlock ring 2. (Sorry if this is long).
if you hold down the R key on your keyboard you can restart your run, timer and blocks like those swinging platforms, only do this if you fall all the way down though
hey, i gotta say, you're doing well!! also, after you beat it, maybe try the first tower of zone 2, ring 2 or forgotten ridge, but i'd reccomend zone 2
Theres a skip in the green section, after the sketch truss jump, there is a slightly transparent stud you can jump on to skip straight to the falling blocks part of the floor.
If u wanna know how to check the music, look at the bottom left. Hover over the music:ON and u can see the music name also yes half studs will come. So be prepared
Honestly pretty impressive you made it to blue so fast. I would defined recommend watching guides for towers now as they start having traps like you saw with the conveyor trap on blue. Watching guides definitely helps out so much and can makes things more bearable. However if you don’t wanna watch a guide for ToH then 100% watch one for ToK (I think idk). TLDR: watch guides they help show strategies and traps
I think I should watch guides lol I did all towers from ToAST to ToSP without guide. MAN I SHOULD SEARCH UP GUIDES CUZ TOSP TOOK ME 6h AND WHEN I SAW THE GUIDE THERE WERE SO MANY SKIPS IN THE END BUT I DID THEM LEGIT BRO.
@@katastrophic_kc9329 Nice!!! but yeah guides definetly help on more classic towers as they tend to have hidden traps that can be kinda annoying, thankfully more modern towers tend to indicate stuff but sometimes it can be helpful just to see how to do something
How obby editing for a tower should be done (imo) 1. Go through your first run where you get to say floor 3. When you fall, cut back to just a few jumps prior to where you fell. Keep a similar pattern up throughout the tower. Obviously you can deviate from this how you see best.
I think it'll be really hard for you to beat towers in Ring 1 after ToH or ToK. Try to do other towers in Forgotten Ridge for example to get more skill.
the forgotten rigde is located at the more realms and you can jump down to some orange platforms and try to find a Zipline thingy. i think a video can help. fr (forgotten ridge) contains steeples which are like shorter towers (like 5-6 floors on average)
@@Squallzzz Don't worry about 0.5 studs, they only appear in wayyyyy harder towers, and since players don't find them fun, builders don't really make them after the first few rings.
Here's how to go to forgotten ridge, it's really good for progressing through the first few worlds 1. Spawn in ring 1 2. Look to your right and go outside, following the door that says "More Realms" 3. Follow the arrow that says "Forgotten Ridge" 4. Do the obby underneath the island 5. Go in the elevator and click the green button
if you're struggling to progress try and get to ring 2 by getting some tower points in forgotten ridge and play the 2 easiest towers there they're (i THINK they're..) pretty good practice for beginners
12:56 your cursor needs to be on the truss (the truss is the climbing thing) i recommend that if you jump to a truss you do it without shift lock and by keeping your cursor on the truss
At 9:36, I’m pretty sure that the invisible blocks you see are the bottom of the falling platforms above and the can be used to indicate falling platforms There is actually a 1 stud skip slightly before that
10:08 yeah there are!!! towers in ring 1 with half studs are: ToIE, CoLS, TT theres also a terrifying tower in ring 4 that spams half studs and an intense tower in zone 2 that spams one studs
On some towers, you have to worry about half studs (assuming that a half stud is 0.5x0.5x0.5). But these towers are most likely higher than challenging difficulty, so you don't have to worry. (There are tightropes that are 0.5 studs wide) As you progress through the rings, the frequency of half studs is decreasing, as towers in that time have higher standards than the time when ring 1 was released.
i suggest you should find out how to accually do the towers and see all the traps like maybe watch a video to know which parts are traps and which parts are fine like alot of towers have traps so you need to know what to do when you are at the traps it doesnt just be like you see the thing and you know it. also this is how to get to the forgotten ridge so basically you go outside and if you see an arrow you need to follow it and drop down to an obby to get to the forgotten ridge and if you want to suffer to go to thanos tower go to credits and find a gautlet like the one thanos uses then you go to the psychologically unsafe towers and go to the gate in the ground next to ToTS (tower of true skill) then there it is also why did i write this much on a comment
when you beat this and an difficult, you should beat Tower of stress as ur first challenging, Tower of Impossible Expectations as ur first intense, and ToGD or ToTS as ur first rem (if u even get there)
No ToIE is not a good first intense and ToTS is not a good first rem, It’s better to do ToPA or SoBA as your first intense and it’s much better to do ToFSF or ToCB (or even CoPE if you’re far enough in the spacial system) as your first rem
really weird to think this was once considered the hardest obby 🥺🥺 oh ye and this was the first tower to be added into jtoh or technically ktoh edit: oh yeah and when you beat this youll have access to ring 2!
I just did ToDR in ring 6. Here's some advice for when you unlock that ring: NEVER TOUCH RING 6. DON'T, JUST DON'T. ONLY GO TO RING 6 SO YOU CAN UNLOCK ASHEN TOWERWORKS. Anyways, cool video :D
@@Squallzzz for studs thinner than 1 I also recommend trying to get your character as much in the middle of them as possible or you might kinda slip and fall off of them
@@Squallzzz Understandable but I’d recommend his channel on that tower if u get stuck, I don’t think he did many more guides it just helps on older towers imo which have lots of unindicated traps, etc.
the dog zone is through a wall across from neat but on the same north side of the room neat is a "mini tower" and theyre tiny towers also PLEASE go to forgotten ridge its through the door ar the right of spawn that leads outside note: a lot of early towers have traps like toh, newer towers are much better thin studs are any stud less than 1 stud wide or long also tower of hecc uses a lot of kevin macleod music lol good luck!!! #diegothegoatinthecomments
For 7:25 please do NOT approach it from the left 😭😭 Instead, position yourself a bit backwards so that the block is not directly over your head, then jump sideways to the right and then you can grab the horizontal part of the truss next to the block from there.
do tojgf in forgotten ridge, way easier than toh , for 4 tp , after u get 4 points , move on to R2 and beat ToPS and if you want , beat ToBH too , some forgotten ridge towers too , ill follow your journey.
You gotta start off easy wit ToAST (the starter tower) then slowly work your way up to harder towers Skip ToR (tower of rage) cause it sucks (optional) If you want to beat a challenging then i'd recommend ToS (tower of stress) Although you would need fast reaction time (you'll see later in the tower)
Jtoh is a great game but the thing is that your soul and your being gets trapped in it after reaching ring 2 and Tower of Hecc is the last step to reach it afterward each ring you unlock will furthermore trap you. I was and still is trapped (been trapped for 4 years btw) 4/10 don’t recommend
Not Even a Tower (neat) isn't actually catastrophic difficulty, the portal may be white, but it's actually bottom easy. Towers like neat are known as mini-towers, which are the smallest towers in the game. If you truly wish to try a catastrophic tower, you have to reach either ring 7, 8 and 9, zone 8 and soon 9 or pit of misery. You'll likely regret it tho
Basically the name color when you’re in a tower is an extremely helpful indication of what difficulty something is when the portal itself isn’t accurate. It’s crazy how recently that feature was added btw like all the way from 2018 to 2022 and a portion of 2023 we didn’t have the in tower name of the tower be colored it’s assigned difficulty.
about youtube copyright striking you... I dont know anything about copyright but im pretty sure when your video is done processing and gets uploaded it tells you on the right if there are any restrictions like copyright. Maybe if you set the video to schedule like an hour after its been uploaded then you can catch it. dont listen to me tho because I know basically noting
ok, so um please dont do this tower already, first i would improve your obby skills with difficulty chart obbys or other hard obbys and as the comments said, you should go to forgotten ridge (its hidden in ring 1 but its easy to find) and uh play zone 1 ofc (there is tozd wich is one of the esiest towers in jtoh and if you enter zone 1 its prob gonna be the first modern tower you play) yh thats it, also in this jtoh vids, you should always read the comments, cuz trust me they can help alot
@@Trump_Trumpfun fact: Tower of Hecc was originally called Tower of Hell and also Tower of Hell (the game) is a spinoff from Kiddie’s Towers of Hell which changed to Juke’s Towers of Hell because Kiddie_Cannon (now known as ObrenTune) pretty much transferred ownership to Jukecalla (previously known as Jukereise and Jupiter_Five) because he didn’t want to work on the game anymore.
You're doing pretty good so far! There's a couple things you should probably know about this tower (other than the traps, which you've already encountered) This tower features very thin platforms called tightropes on the later floors, which can be very difficult if you do not approach them correctly. The best way to deal with them is to go in shiftlock + first person, and use the little stub on top of the shiftlock icon to make sure you're perfectly centered on the tightrope. If you don't do this, your character will fall into the tightrope and then slip off, which can be saved but is extremely disorienting if you haven't had it happen before, so be careful! Also, the tower will give you the opportunity to practice your first tightrope on a safe section, so maybe give this method a shot when you get there! Also, don't trust platforms that are 4x4 in size, they are often falling platforms in this tower and should be treated with caution. Fortunately, the key to knowing if a platform is a falling platform actually lies in those mysterious ghostly platforms you tried to jump to on the green floor! Those ghost platforms are actually triggers to make the falling platforms disappear, and all falling platforms in this tower have them underneath. If you're worried about getting tricked, look under the platform you're about to jump to to make sure it's safe! That's all I got :3 good luck next time
