James Turner uses the Copy Pasto spell to copy potions and books, crystals and jewelry, in fact he uses that spell alot. Once you use that spell you can copy the excellent food and sell that over and over again. Aww, Stanley suffers so much!! Anyway, you can increase his cooking skill to 8 or 10 and be able to sell food from the pie menu.

I think it’s funny that the duplicate editing happens when she’s talking about the duplicate spell

Lil tip: Delicioso makes spoiled food not spoiled, pretty handy if you forget to put it in the fridge. It's a very good spell and saves a lot of money. Esfregatus can serve to clean objects and sims, so you can just sort out your higiene with one spell. The repairo spell also helps increase the quality of plants. And you can use the fire spell to dry puddles and the water spell to put out fires.

my dear husband (Stanley Humphrey) has returned from the war (is in another video) after 4 long years. (It’s only been like two weeks)

It's fun to see Simsie excited about spellcasters since they're one of my favorite occults :). I personally love using the repario spell on floral arrangements so I can scent them with bluebell and have them forever easier lol. Highly recommend getting spellcaster discharge as one of the first perks so you can keep on casting spells. I also recently learned that Herbio spawns a lot more plants than just herbs, it even can spawn death flowers I was half expecting the first potion of plentiful needs to be a bad one that makes each need be yellow lol

Let me take this opportunity to thank you for redoing Magic HQ twice! I always replace EA one with one of yours in all of my saves even if I don't currently have a spellcaster. I don't want any jumpscares if I ever do play one.

I can't help but laugh every time Kayla purposefully makes Stanley die and then apologizes to him so sincerely! I was actually inspired by Stanley's dumpster diving episode to try a rags-to-riches with a Sim. We weren't as lucky as Stanley was, but he kept finding all of that burned-up furniture. Once I found out you could fix that furniture with the Repario spell, he went to be a spell caster for that reason only. We fixed up the junk furniture, and he sold that, and it turned out well. In my current game, I've just started with a spell caster (living in Kayla's crystal castle - thank you for that!!!!), and so far, it has been a lot of fun.

The fact that you had 249 simoleons and needed 250 simoleons for a toilet made me laugh, and I haven't laughed in awhile so thank you 😂❤

As someone who’s also been on a bit of a spell caster kick recently (probably because of me rewatching BBC Merlin), I love how Kayla is starting to post more with them!!

I forgot how awful the magic realm looks because the first thing i do on a new game is replace it with Simsie's reno 😅

There’s also the spell go copy and paste stuff, so you can duplicate you potions and most expensive food.

For those who may not now, you can plant various things indoors in a planter box, now. It does take up 2x2, but I was able to make a tinyhome with all amenities (though the garbage was outside the house) with 4 planter boxes, and managed to do a rags-to-riches all the way to having 1m simoleons in my account while still a Young Adult. I used the fishing site in the northeast corner of San Sequoia to fish up dragonfruit, planted them indoors 4 to a planter so they'd fruit all the time instead of just in Autumn, and sold them at 200% markup as-is, didn't even need to juice fizz them! (I also had a dumpster for my garbage and dove for things to repair / sell.)

I’m so glad to see someone else encounter the weird arm glitch when they read books! It was one id never seen anyone talk about, so I wondered if some random mod had broken my game, this happens all the time to my sims. 🤦🏻‍♀️ Then they will not do anything until you reset them to fix their hand. 🙄

you should do a challenge where you turn your screen black & white or invert colors and build a house that way!

I’ve noticed this a few times, and I feel bad mentioning it because I’m not trying to be mean, but a lot of times the editing in your vids aren’t perfect. You’ll say the same thing 2-4 times in slightly different ways and it feels obvious that most of them were supposed to be cut out but they aren’t. Most of the time it’s not that bad, but sometimes it’s distracting. That being said, I love your videos and watch all of your RU-vid content Kayla!!!

a while ago when i attempted the super sim challenge (lost the save and gave up) the potion of plentiful needs was a life saver, no need to stop the skill or collection youre grinding if you have those stocked up

I’ve been using the sell table in my play-through and the easiest way to make stragglers leave is to click on your own sim and select ‘make everyone leave’

I enjoy playing with spellcasters. I like visiting the magic realm and having at least one of my sims build up their magic ability to help the rest of the household with spells.

Spellcasters have always been my favorite occult. I've had them in NSB since G5. G9 heir was born without powers and I kept it that way because I didn't need extra random phone calls he had to accept for duels 🙃. For G6 it was a huge part of their character; evil criminal tech (I went Oracle branch) mage... Jasper and I had a blast 😄

Even though little simsie genuinely hated the pack I still bought it. I really love the build mode items. The gameplay is a bit slow but it's worth it. Specially spells like scruberoo, inferniate and zipzap are fun. I also like the idea of being able to curse people. I wish the gameplay had more in the sense of bindi g familiars via orbs still doesn't make sense ro me. You can't really do much in the magical realm. And I hated some of the builds so I just downloaded lilsimsies shell of the school and re did it accordingly. It was a fun project. Now that I have realm of magic where you can use spells like floriate, the crystal creations pack and paranormal you could actually have dedicated gameplay class rooms like Kayla made in her build. I'm looking forward to purchasing the crystal creations pack.

Do you have a save dedicated to Stanley get rich schemes? It would be so funny to have a world completely full of different kinds of Stanleys! The nectar Stanley and dumpster Stanley could buy stuff off of magical food Stanley and so on 😂

I had a couple a werewolf and a spellcaster live together and see how long I can have them live off their abilities. It was fun for awhile.

There's a few other really useful spells

just a tip, to not have to deal with the spellcaster overcharge thing, you can learn a spell that you can preform OR you can use one of the talent points to discharge yourself

Could you do this with the "summon grilled cheese" option from the melt master trait??

Realm of Magic is one of my favorite packs, the only problem I have with it is the same as most other packs they definitely could've had more lots in Glimmerbrook, or even had the Realm of Magic as its own separate world with lots.

Two things to try, though I don't suppose that Simsie would do both since one is combining two things: 1. Dumpster diving and using Repairio on the burned stuff (which is the two things). 2. Having Discover University roommates (in a house that will actually serve their needs, which can be challenging sometimes) and selling the food that they magically will into their hands and throw around. EDIT: Oh no, and I just remembered a third. lol Spellcaster insurance fraud. lol Burn things with Inferniate, put them out and preferably with Chillio for the XP and to be more magical lol, then use Repairio on the burned stuff after you collect the insurance money. lol 😂

The magical realm looks empty. Kinda like that infamous Willy's Wonderland or what ever they called it. As if they got the location and some base items, but had underestimated the space and had to spread stuff out to avoid empty rooms. Or like the school project you started the night before deadline and then didnt have time for finishing touches. It fit the criteria, but only just. And I honestly think the developers of a big game like this should aim for more than a passing grade. I would love to see someone re-create that building as a shell challenge and see what people could make of it. ❤

I habe spellcasters even in my everyday gameplay, because other than vampires or werewolves you don’t actively have to be a witch… but if you want they are so so useful…

Since the jewelry pack came out, I've been playing nonstop spellcasters and I'm shocked i've not gotten sick of it hahaha! I made a goth witch named Onyx Basalt who is just happy to be alive and thriving, and she JUST gave birth to a werewolf baby, and my plans for this werewolf baby are that she'll eventually grow up living in Glimmerbrook and wonder about her origins and return to Moonwood Mill and begin investigating her people. And then she'll get into gardening, make money off of flower arranging, potentially open up a flower shop, and MAYBE also go into archaeology, but I'm not sure. I think I might also put her into either yoga/wellness OR knitting/cross stitch because a werewolf who gardens and cross stitches is amazing to me lmao. Edit: You can't get jet and I can't get friggin Jonquil... Jonquilyet.... Jonquilyes? Jonny Zest.

To get more money using Realm of Magic, there's familiar orbs on the downstairs fireplaces of Magic HQ. Can just drag them into your inventory. Love your videos so much!!!!! ❤❤❤

Flashback to James Turner using copypasto on Reginald Bigwallet's book to max out his fame and as a byproduct, he made so much money from royalties, he could build a freaking mansion 😂. Also, the latest Every Lot Challenge Challenge, where he used magic to turn a botched jewellry into excellent and then proceeded to sell that same necklace over and over throughout most of the challenge and that was pretty much his only income 🤣 Also, these days I always do a double take every time I see the original L. Faba in someone's video, because quite a while back, I did a make-over on L. Faba in the save that I use for all of my games (and then copied her into the already existing games), so I have a green-skinned, black-haired Idina Menzel version of this sim in my game and I got so used to it, it's weird to see her original look 😆

Stanley eating hot dogs is like seeing Larry the lobster eating a plate of lobster thermidor, unsettling.

A fun little trick: the copypasto spell also works on the money tree! I had like ten of those trees at some point, all thanks to that spell!
