We are in Dallara, where I tried WORLD'S BIGGEST Formula 1 SIMULATOR! Dallara Full Documentary: • INSIDE World's BIGGEST... Dallara Official Website: bit.ly/Dallara-Naska
Thank you Alberto, loved this honest video that is understandable for anyone. I have been searching for a "as realistic as possible" racing experience since 1996. My last project was building a full motion rig around the DIY SFX-100. This project enables low budget enthousiast to come close to the real thing for less then 5.000 bucks. I drive for fun at The Nordschleife (I live 10 minutes from it) and in the simulator it really feels the same, amazing. Many greetings from Germany.
This was amazing to watch. And just from seeing your data. If your just work on braking you will be an absolute beast in a proto ! I found it challenging myself going from formula 3 to lmp cars, but not so much in the braking it was more so how aggressive you can be with the steering on first input and in low speed. But it’s great to watch you grow as a driver I love your videos
This simulator is so cool! I got the opportunity to sit in the simulator at the Dallara in Indianapolis, IN. It looks exactly like this one. I live a few minutes' walk from the factory, and it was so cool. I was told it costs $15,000 for the teams to use it. I also got to sit in an IR-18 IndyCar chassis with the steering wheel and all. The tires had been removed because they needed to send them somewhere I can't remember. They had Tony Kanaan's monocoque tub and a few other drivers. They also had some customer parts ready to be shipped out. The guy that gave me the tour worked in composites and currently works at Andretti's factory.
As someone who competitively drives a radical SR3 and plays sims for 15+ years, I would say RF2 is OK, but weird and constantly slidey. Assetto Corsa is amazing and just like real life, it allows you to balance the car on the limit properly, feel the understeer, feel front tyre grip, feel weight transfer, everything. You're right about 1 thing, for sure - iRacing is really bad and nothing like reality 😂
Awesome insight. Hope you get to use the simulator as a professional driver in the near future. Cheering you on to higher motorsport achievements in 2024 and beyond. 👍
for the most part biggest difference is the software they run I would guess if you had their software and adapted it to more of a home setup it would function pretty similar to give you all those graphs etc.
Hey, big thanks for english subs that are there now as long as possible.. In other videos, the subs are too quick in quite many places.. Great video again..🙏🙏😃
A G-meter or just something hanging in the cockpit would give a visual clue to the acceleration you get. Great video, I wonder how you got this opportunity
That’s nice to see that what we are trying on as pilots to renew our licences or being rated on a type of aircraft is now used to do the same things in cars ! 😉
Well now I need to know what the custom DIY pedals are? What's inside the 8020 profile? Looks like a Loadcell but also kinda looks like an active pedal possibly?
I like these rigs, but I never understood why they don't use something like "tilt five" retroreflector type augmented reality setup. It's kind of perfect for these rigs
Hello! Please, take a look at our compact motion simulator - U-sim Delta, a very strong and fast rig, with 437 Nm torque,837 mm/sec speed and a pitch rate of 68,64°/sec that will make your body feel everything that happens with your car on track. Thank you!
The video doesn't show what happens with the cage when you hit the curbs and your car is sent up in the air. That's what I wanted to see. What happens during weight transfer also is not clearly shown.
if you are talking about the dallara simulator, it's a special version of simulator only for business. it's usually compared to rfactor 2, because I believe is kinda of a version of the rfactor but build for real sim or its name is something with rfactor.
Why does rfactor2 feel like absolute trash to me? How do I set it up to where it doesn’t feel worse than literally every other title. It’s the only one I don’t bounce back and forth to.
Thank Naska for saying iracing is the worst sim platform, its so old it still doesnt have rain and yet these people spend thousand of moola into a platform that you need to pay to race or buy to enter races. the biggest scam in sim racing
