I've been using e.l.f. Putty Blush and setting it with L'Oreal True Match Blush. It's a combo that is really working for me. My blush stays in place all day long.
You always look great, but I have to say that your brows look better than ever today! The softness of the brow pen looks even more natural than what you normally do. It's just a personal preference, as you always looks so put together, but I really think it's perfect for you.
Drugstore makeup has really stepped up in the past few years. I love the Wet and Wild Photo Focus powder! I used Bare Minerals Mineral Veil for many years, bought the W n W in a pinch and it’s so good!! And so much cheaper! The Maybelline eye shadow palettes in 24k Nudes and The Nudes are also amazing!
I totally agree with you! I keep the Wet & Wild Photo Focus powder in my Bridal kit and it's amazing! Works beautifully on a variety of skin types, and is suitable to set the makeup on my clients with deeper skin complexions!
Allie!!! These video's are one of my favorites that you do. I swear every time you do one of them, I immediately run out and buy everything that everyone's recommended, bc you always look stunned when you're done! Thank you for doing these. The products are gorgeous! 😘🤗😍🥰
My collection is almost exclusively drugstore because this SAHM is on a budget! I use Wet N Wild Photo Focus Loose Translucent Setting Powder and Elf Halo Glow Light Pink Setting Powder daily.
I absolutely love the maybelline skin tint and milani cream bronzer along w elf camo blushes no reason to spend so much money anymore can't believe all the money I've wasted over the years on high end
That wet and wild loose powder I can’t live without! I discover that loose powder since 2017 I think and now it’s 2024 it’s still is my daily use I only use this and the huda ! And I don’t plan on stop using this wet and wild it’s to good !!! 😂❤
I gave up on liquid foundations, especially after trying NARS, Chanel, and even Revlon, plus many more. It’s probably my age (68), but I love Laura Geller baked powder foundation. It smooths and covers without looking wet or shiny (greasy). And all my blushes look perfect with it.
I bought 2 shades, after Wayne Goss gave it such glowing reviews, but it sucks moisture out of my skin. Not good for dry skin. I still hold out some hope that I can figure out a way to moisturize enough, but for now it sits unused. 🙁
See, I found the elf dewy setting mist to be TOO FINE in the mister. Like I had to use half the bottle to get the makeup to feel damp and get the powders to melt into the skin. Also, I didn't love how it would make my eyeshadow crease throughout the day, even with an eyeshadow primer. I found that spraying it directly to my sponge then pressing the sponge on the face worked SO much better!! ❤
Allie, one of my favorite things about you is that you will try drugstore makeup/any makeup and get the recommendations of your viewers. You trust and value the opinions of your viewers and produce great looks no matter the cost of the products. I think you prove that you can get a fantastic makeup look without paying astronomical prices.
My favorite videos of yours are the drug store ones. I feel like that caters to everyone versus expensive brand content. I feel like everyone can find the drug store products no issues and are more likely to be able to afford the drug store make up. I love that you do these and try out what your viewers recommend. ❤
I have oily + mature skin and that Maybelline skin tint does work very well....except in summer. It's a bit too glowy in the summer. I actually mix it with a more matte finish foundation in the summer to get more of a natural glow, but without looking greasy.
@@HakunaMatata-ht3rf Maybelline Fit Me Matte. If you go up just a bit in price though, the About Face foundation is phenomenal and actually looks better five hours after applying it than even immediately after application, and continues to wear beautifully for hours more.
I am loving the new Elf Setting Spray. The mister on it is SO fine. I also love Hero sunscreen, the one with orange top. Not sure if it is considered drugstore, but I bought it at CVS which to me qualifies it.
I'm really loving the Nyx buttermelt blushes and Maybelline firework mascara i still love the skyhigh as well. Maybelline fit me loose powder is still a classic 👌
I love the WnW loose powder! Risa (does Makeup) recommends that one and I’m so happy I tried it. It’s a fav! And the ELF setting spray is amazing!, I use the matte one and it’s perfect! For me personally, it performs WAY better than CT!
I'm trying to purchase more drugstore makeup instead of high end ones, and these kinds of videos are super helpful ✨ Your makeup looks so good! I had the same memory about the mascara, but looks amazing! 💞
The only thing I would add to this look would be the Maybelline Sunkisser Liquid Blush, which is a beautiful blush topper because it also has shimmer. Love how this turned out!!!
@@kelbel1179 Af94 is the brand for the liner and lip crayon (both in the color Death by Mocha) and Milani is the brand for the fetish lip oil in Honey Fig, both found at Walmart and I think Ulta too.
Maybelline Fit Me Matte powder and Lifter Glosses are still two of my staples, and I love the ColourPop Bronzing Sticks. They spread so easily and last a long time on me (I do set then with powder bronzer) in spite of my oily skin. Also, I love my ColourPop gel eyeliners and their new plumping lip liners. They just get it done for me!
Allie, such a fantastic video! Thank you so much for creating this gorgeous look using drug store products. I have a few of these products but I’m going to get several more that you showed us today. You look beautiful!!💕🌸💕
Hi Allie! I think this all looks great on you. A couple of questions. 1. When you press in with a sponge is it dry or damp? 2. Is there any way to buy your lip products in Canada?
You have to try the new Essence powder blushes. They replaced The blush blushes but the new ones and formula are beautiful. I swear my makeup collection is 95% drugstore bc of my budget and most of it is bc of Allie’s recommendations and she’s never stirred me wrong. You look beautiful today. Now I have a new list lol. My bday is on Sunday so I have an excuse to buy new makeup ❤
WOW! Every single product that you used looks absolutely gorgeous!! I haven't bought anything at the drugstore because our stores here never have any of the products that are popular, but I'm going to track these down (lips and blush). I haven't used a drugstore mascara in 30 years, but I'm going to get the Telescopic. Your entire look today looks very high end!!
The loreal concealer is the best! It's like the never ending search for my concealer is over. I've tried many concealers, drugstore or high end recommended by beauty guru but it doesn't work for me. I've tried Natasha Denona w/c is the most recommended and super hype concealer but it doesn't work for me.
Hi Allie! Love your videos! Can you review more of the MCO beauty range? Particularly the pressed powder (CT dupe) with a wear test im hoping to get your thoughts on more of their products because I trust your opinion! Thanks!
Hi Allie! What color Cover Girl lipstick did you use in this video? You gave the name of the first one, and then you said you were using a mauvey color. Of the choices listed, I didn't see one with "mauve" in the name. Thanks!
I love the experience of applying a liner, lipstick and gloss like that but it’s just not practical irl. On me it looks overdone and it also never stays put for very long. If it doesn’t get stuck in my hair and pull pink streaks across my face, inevitably I need to sip water, eat or blow my nose and it gets messy. Love the look at the beginning but it’s so high maintenance.
Right? Great for a photoshoot maybe, but not real life. I've been lining my lips and filling them in a bit, blending it with my finger and then Ive been loving the Colorpop So Juicy lip gloss balm dabbed on top. It looks put together, but my hair doesn't stick to it and it's easier to touch up later.
Word to word exactly my experience too!! I wish those looks actually stayed put longer. I can’t imagine how people function in their day to day with this… I usually just do a liner and tiny bit of a balm or gloss which wears much better.
I suck at using cream products other than the foundation. When I do the products just smudge into the foundation underneath and get all muddy. I dunno what I’m doing wrong
Have been watching you for years and always enjoy your videos especially as I have the exact same eye as you, two colours. Question: so you ship your lip sticks to Italy? I know they are make here but so much makeup is but not always shipped here.
Vid idea- Not sure if you've already done this. But pretend your building a pro makeup kit you would use on clients. What items would you choose? So they have to be very versatile for certain occasions, skin types and reliable. A long with most importantly, zero flashback and photograph well.
I went to look for the covergirl lipstick and the color that u used u said it was romance mauve but when I was looking through the colors I didn’t see that color in the choices.
I do love the new maybelline lifter liners but they are not as creamy as they look when influencers apply them on camera, and I figured that’s probably because they usually have a little bit of lip balm on their lips. Bear in mind that even if they wipe it off with a tissue, a little bit remains, which inevitably affects the formula. If you have absolutely nothing on your lips, they do feel a bit dry, and are impossible to blend because once applied, they are not moving anywhere. If you want to blend, you need at least a thin layer of a balm or something. BUT the more balm/gloss/lipstick you use on top, the shorter lasting they become. Which is a problem with all liners really, since oil dissolves the formulas. So in a practical setting in day to day life, no liners are truly long lasting, unless you absolutely don’t wear anything on top, which let’s face it, not many of us do because it would dry our lips out… I wish someone would actually talk about this issue. I still love the liners because the colours are great, my favourite being out of line! But I may even love the Rimmel long lasting liners more. They are creamier and actually blend on their own on completely bare lips. And the shade range is fabulous! Definitely my favourite drugstore lip liners.
@@kelbel1179 That would be soo hard to choose! Probably 90’s nude, a really gorgeous medium warm brown/pink nude, which I love for everyday looks so much, and also spice, which is a bit more reddish but still so wearable for everyday! However ms mauve is also absolutely gorgeous. And tiramisu, which is a bit of a lighter version of 90’s nude.
@@consciouslypure2176 your favorites are all of the liners! I’m with you… once you like a formula, you’re all in. Every shade, every range. Am I right?!? I’m like that with blushes. Ohhhhh the blushes I have. Yikes!!!
