i always remove the sponge from my maybelline age rewind concealer, makes it a lot more hygienic, doesn't waste product, and the sponge doesn't suck up the moisture out of the concealer
The elf concealer pen, omg! Beautiful product, spot on dupe for the ysl one. Since I got it, that’s all I wear and just spot conceal on days I don’t want foundation and powder with the Dior powder no powder and looks beautiful all day long.
LOVE the dark brown eyeliner on you actually- You look SO beautiful in this video!!! I mean you always do but today especially. xoxo Happy New Year from Socal! ☀
0:36 Allie Glines did a several day series with her viewers focusing on different categories of viewer favorites. It was nice to hear runners up and get to know the breadth of diversity and what rose to the top.
Hey Abbey! I recommend the Lifter gloss in Petal, Milani Anti Gravity Mascara, and two blushes by Milani 'Tea Rose', and 'Coral Cove'.. I actually put the coral on lightly and mix it with Maybelline Fit Me blush in the shade 'Peach' . It's really pretty.
Try taupe for the NYX micro brow pencil. That’s what I use and we have similar natural hair colors. I felt the same about the blonde color and the neutral brown color is too dark for me.
I had to throw out my ELF camo concealer. It's so dry, it literally pulled my skin tighter. I'll have to try this one. My favorite drug store mascara is still the Lash Princess ones; I think I recall you saying it didn't work well for you? But one coat is an everyday look, two coats is so dramatic. I love it. Any reccs for a lip oil, since your fave changed formulas? EDIT: I forgot to say I have the same pink-toned fair skin as you do so I really appreciate you telling me the shades. 😊
Your makeup in this video is stunning. I do also love the darker liquid liner on you. I am also a fair skinned blue eyes blonde and i think those of us with that tone need a darker contrast in our makeup. I also used to do lighter brown smudged liner but have grown to ❤my baby wing liquid lined eye in physicians formula waterproof black for everyday chic!
The Catrice foundation is wonderful, you simply applied too much. Such foundations look best when you use a very small amount, then you get exactly the result they advertise - I have oily skin with redness to cover and I love that I can get the coverage without looking cakey plus the great longevity.
If you want a Lifter gloss that isn't too pigmented but has a lot of shine try the shade Moon. It's a very sheer pink with glitters in it. TikTok compares it to Fenty's Fu$$y gloss if that helps you understand the color. As a very pale person who doesn't usually like pink lip products I really like how it looks. My only problem with the Lifter glosses personally is that the glitter tends to shift around as the gloss fades, so I'll randomly find glitter on my cheeks. Other than that, Moon is really pretty and the Lifter gloss formula is super comfortable.
I use the L’Oréal tinted serum with Hyaluronic, it’s great for days that you don’t want to wear a full foundation. I love the No 7 face powder, it is my favorite. Also, the Physicians Formula bronzer is a keeper and lastly the Maybelline Lifter gloss is great. I just purchased the Almay Goddess Gloss and this one is so good, the color is Fairy.
I love this serum foundation, but it can get too oily for me to wear all day. I actually mix this with the Revlon Candid Natural Finish Foundation and I get the perfect finish all day.
Almost all my drugstore faves are your recs, Abbey, so I can't help much with new products to try. I have used the Neutrogena hydroboost lip glosses before and I like them, so now I want to try the Maybelline lifter gloss. The silk shade looks gorgeous on you! Have a great weekend 🥰
Happy New Year Abbey! I just love your channel!! So many great tips and advice. I purchased so many products you recommend, trying to grow my hair long and improve my skin. So far, it's been going great and i have you to thank for it. Hope you have a wonderful new year!!!
1:57 some constructive criticism: please adjust how you do swatches! You put too much on the back of your hand when swatching and it's not helpful in seeing how a product actually spreads or blends into skin when there's a huge amount applied at once.
I was going to not watch this video, because I saw from other yourubers how they hype up the products their views suggest as a holly grail , but you are so so honest and man u just earned so much respect from me !! Truly abby , thank you for always giving us your honest opinion. You are real !! Love u . Rana
I would love to see the maybelline super stay active wear concealer in a review! I also am in love with the L’Oréal hyaluronic acid serum foundation and the L’Oréal bronzers you mentioned.
Do you recommend using two different types of shampoo and conditioner? If so how often should I switch them…I’m thinking of using Pureology Strength Cure & Redkin Acidic Bonding
I love the number 7 lift and luminate pressed powder it's my favorite powder ever and I hate powders . My favorite blush is the butter bronzer in dark bronzer the og formula . I just broke my Bareminerals blonzer blush try to look for the name of my favorite drugstore blush😭Almay healthy hue blush in nearly nude. I don't have favorite drugstore brow products my eyebrows are super light and no drugstore products have the right color no eyeshadow favs either. Neutragena sensitive skin tint fav base product and L'Oreal age perfect concealer the loreal Bambi mascara is probably my fav drugstore mascara. Essense pure nude highlight for that catagorie. Revlon lifter fav lip product in the light shade .
Hi Abbey, I think you should try the double trouble mascara from essence. The bristles on the brush are one side volume one side length and definition. Also colour pop glossy stain
First of all: happy new year Abby! A year following your channel. You have a wonderful personality: your manners are never aggressive like other creator's contents. You just go to the point with enormous KINDNESS. 🙌🏻❤️ About the products mentioned here: "Instant Age Rewind" from L'Oreal is a this point a classic. You can use it for everything. My only negative opinion about this product it's the (confusing) colors palette. There's a lot of them very similar and if you have dark blue circles the best concealer is ORANGE which i never find in Maybelline. The formula is also very light and doesn't lasts very much. Anyway for the price & quality still reigns between the best options. Trying new formulas from a new foundation can be easy or a real torture. I have tons of bottles waiting their expiration date. One of my favorite foundations is "Vichy Liftactiv Flexiteint". I use the number 15. It's everything why it's OK about a foundation. Incredible product.
Hi Abbey, Happy New Year 🥰! I hope you had a lovely Christmas and New Year with your family and friends 💕. How are you settling in being back at home and finding a new property to live in? Has this video been filmed eary on and if so when will you be back?
My brow pencil is Annabelle skinny brow in Universal Taupe. I am a cool blonde and this matches my brows to a T. Annabelle might be a Canadian product line though...?
Hi Abby such a fun video thanks! Can you try out the ilia brand specifically the foundation, skin tint, brow gel, and bronzer? I use all these products and love them, but I would love to hear your thoughts!❤
Niiice! Literally was looking at buying the Catrice foundation yesterday, but not sure on the shades! Which shade did you use here? (BTW your links aren't working)
9:32 I don’t know what I’m doing wrong but the milani blushes don’t seem to work with my other products. It’s so weird; when I apply it, literally halfway through the day there’ll be a patch on my cheeks where the blush, foundation & powder has gone transparent and I can see my skin. It’s happened so many times to know it’s not a coincidence. Such a shame as it’s a lovely blusher but I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong with this one or if the ingredients in it just don’t mix well with my other products. 🤔 brilliant video as always! 💓
The No7 lift and luminate powder is a fav of mine - makes my more mature skin look airbrushed but still natural. The only problem is I can’t find it anywhere in the translucent shade which is what I use. I’m worried they are discontinuing it. Anyone else out there have this problem?
Yes I didn't like the Catrice foundation either.....it's too much! I didn't realize so many people still like such full coverage.....it's too dry and too matte and makes my line and pored like BAM!!
The L’Oréal tinted serum is so flat and matte on me. I have dry, sensitive skin and it was horrible. Any recommendations on a very dewy, medium/full coverage foundation
I have the lipgloss. Ice shade, which is just transparent. This is the only lip cosmetic apart from colorless lipbalms I have. I like it's non sticky and not too much glossy. The aplicator is unpleasant, but it's ok. The con is of course the scent, not tolerable for me for everyday use. 🙁 Very artificial and strong, ugh. I don't know why Maybelline advertises the concealer as new in my country, the lipgloss also. 🙄 I tried the concealer, perfector 4 in 1 and the gloss. I liked the gloss and reccommend the perfector. Too shiny for me, but on point light, natural BB cream finish. It's called 4 in 1 perfector, something like that. Shade 01 clair is like my skin. I don't test a lot of makeup, so maybe this is not special, but I liked it.
I had to give my Milani lip oil to my 9-year-old sister bc the scent made me sick, it was awful😭😭 not long lasting enough for me either bc the texture was more jelly-like
Abby, PLEASE PLEASE do your research on cruelty free brands. I just went down a rabbit hole & threw away a ton of makeup. You have such a huge platform, I hope you will consider moving to Cruelty-free products soon! 🙏🏼
Hey, please recommend me a shampoo that helps with breakage, hydrates and nourishes my scalp. My scalp is so dry. My hair is also dry. I need a deeply nourishing and hydrating shampoo that improves scalp health and also hair strength. Please recommend your absolute best have tried almost everything nothing works. You are my last hope. Please reply. I have really fine and some medium hair btw. I’m gonna paste this comment in all your videos till you reply. I’m so sorry I got no other option and I’m really worried with my current hair fall. I’m just 19.. I love your videos and you have helped me take better care of my skin. But hair I’m not sure which to buy. Please help. I’d be really grateful. I tried olapLex and increased hair fall for me so badly and made my hair dry and brittle with increased breakage and flyways. My scalp is really dry. Like really and very rarely flaky. I’m a male btw. I was thinking about Amika the Kure shampoo or pureology.
