We are from the same year 1982 and I turned 40 in October. A milestone maybe but my skin and body tells a story. All the stretch marks from 8 pregnancies and 5 healthy children are just there to remind of a greater love and purpose. We never stop learning and physically aging is just that, as long as our soul keeps maturing. May God bless you and no weapon formed against you will prosper!!

It is SO refreshing and appreciated to hear you speak about spiritual stuff, and the things in life that really matter. I went through a similar spiritual journey a few years back. It’s hard for me to watch a lot of the beauty channels now because while I still love beauty/self care, the channels I used to view regularly don’t resonate with me anymore. It’s an overly superficial world we live in, and I subscribed to it a long time. There is a peace and satisfaction that comes from being with God and in nature that I used to chase after with other “things”. I think this is my favorite video you’ve ever done. When life knocks us down, it hurts. But if we allow ourselves to learn the lesson, it becomes a blessing for ourselves and others. Thanks for sharing your wisdom!!

This was so interesting to hear you talk about the downfalls of internet fame and social media and how it changed you. I'm a highly sensitive person who is introverted and although I've thought about becoming a RU-vidr, my intuition knew enough not to because so many RU-vidrs spirits seemed to be negatively affected once they made it big. So many start having mental health problems and develop big egos. I've been watching beauty RU-vid since 2006 and yes, it changed sooooo much. I miss the early grassroots days of RU-vid.. because it was innocent, just people talking about their favourite makeup techniques, doing what they love, it was definitely more educational, less focused on specific products. Beauty youtube in the past 7 years became way too focused on an overdone heavy drag like makeup, fake lashes, fake hair, fake nails. People lying to their subscribers, constantly selling product, etc. That's when the soul was sucked out of it. And yes Tati, unfortunately you became aligned with some toxic RU-vidrs who were obsessed with money and fame at all costs. But God has a funny way of teaching us our lessons by pulling us away from that which is pulling us in the wrong direction. Sometimes that means almost losing it all to change paths. Seeing you on this new journey is proof of that 💞🤗. Also I highly recommend the movie Devils Advocate, it is excellent and may remind you of your journey of chasing things of this world. 🙏🏻💙

Hey Tati! I have to detox from overstimulation every so often. I know how you feel: If you can't stand to be alone, how would anyone else want to be around you? I try to do one day a week when I don't speak and don't listen to any talking, just recorded music. No RU-vid, no Hulu, no Google lookups, no reading emails or text messages, no answering the phone or listening to voice mails, ZERO communication. I read a classic if I'm bored; it's Steinbeck this week. Prepping for a long roadtrip! Always the best purge - like a vow of silence! We need this, you're telling us what's real and have moved beyond the fake and brought us along! Thank you!

I know like there was drama around Jeffrey and all that, whatever lol but it’s cool to have heard him talk about shedding materialism to the extent he had and moving somewhere else, etc kinda paralleling your healing journey. I know it’s not the same but cool seeing some OG ppl becoming happier ❤

Thank God Pukka is improving. I lost my 8 year old dog to a brain tumour 7 years ago and I still cry. There is nothing like the love of a dog.

Wow, Tati! Well, I'm not surprised many companies wanted to collab with you, you're very talented.💕 I gotta say, I really wanted more Tati Beauty pallets. I still have mine and even though it has expired (I don't use it anymore for safety reasons), I can't get rid of it. It was one of my favorites!
