"Now in order to give my clay a purple tint I am going to tint my clay purple" I'm still struggling to decide if I am subscribed to this channel for the sculpting or the commentary, both are top notch
@@jupitersupremegaming6871 agreed. Adam's commentary is always LOL funny. The forehead to a 5 or 6 head is another line I love. If you haven't seen it yet, the Hobbit hole, making the tree out of wire just slayed me.
Thank you, sir! It seems to triple the work, but I think it's worth doing all three evolutions at once. When can we expect a terrifying realistic version of a JackJack style Pokémon?
I'm a HUGE pokemon fan and I would LOVE for you to continue this series past october. PS: your clay sculptures have inspired me to try this every day for november.
I think they've earned themselves a regular spot on the channel, but I have lots of other things I'd like to do to, so maybe interspersed with other projects.
@@somewhatrealpurevanilla9691 oh and its pre-evolution haunter states, "When this pokemon licks something living, it will start to shake violently until it dies"
You really outdid yourself on this one. Really cool idea to do all three ghost pokemon (really cool idea for the legendary birds too). Ghastly turned out way better than I expected. For your next video, I must nominate Pikachu. Maybe an electric type for Diwali, festival of lights?
I think unifying the purples was a perfectly valid (purplectly?) artistic choice and, for a sculpture, I think the final effect is really nice. For one thing, it makes it look as if they're less brightly lit in their 'scenario' (the cemetery, probably at night?) so yeah, go you!
This is so so so so cool! I love how it came together. For some reason I always liked Haunter the most out of the three. Never really bothered to evolve mine even though it technically would have made it stronger... Hahaha
Oh my God! I can't even imagine how long it took to plan their stances and how they would all tie in together! This looks beyond amazing! Seriously how they're all bursting out from their cards and intertwined together! It's just so awesome! Also let's not pretend Venom wouldn't immediately jump into a Lickitung if in the pokemon world.
Talk about going out with a bang. This was such a cool piece to see come together! And one thing I enjoy about your videos is the accessibility of seeing how you work and seeing how things fit together. Like seeing the characters being broken down into shapes has this sense of 'hey, I could give this a try!' that feels very inspiring.
Great idea to incorporate Haunters' floating hands, at the beginning I was wondering how you would solve this. Please continue making these Pokemon art pieces.
The fact that there are three Pokemons, which make up my favorite trio, they come out of cards and fritters is construction by putting Gengar at the bottom holding and summoning the other two. This is one of the best sculptures, the best Pokémon for me.
can you please make garchomp, like, I know he is not gen 1, but he is very cool. and a esculpture of garchomp would look sick! edit: IT'S SPOOKY MONTH!!!!!
Hey Man! Dude I love your videos, and I just so happened to find the inspiration through your channel to start doing clay sculpting myself, and I absolutely love it. I took the idea to make this sculpture that you made for my first project as a guide, and as I'm about to finish it, I really just want to say that you are awesome and keep up the amazing work, and thank you for getting me into this new hobby! Cheers!
Yo adam, how about making Wartortle cus' you have done the other kanto starter, Charizard (3rd stage), Bulbasaur (1st stage). So it only makes sense if you do Wartortle (2nd stage) next.
As a Gengar fan (and a huge fan of the line in general) I can say that Gengar and Co. are definitely purple. Sure they sometimes look a bit more washed out, but they're always very much purple. Needless to say, I find the color choice of "Purplest of Purples" to be absolutely perfect.
I would love to see you do a Wartortle to complete the Kanto starter set, that way you’d have a first, middle and final stage in addition to one of each line!
Thank you for this, this was an absolute blast to watch, seeing you bring to life three of my all time favorite Pokémon was a real treat! I really, really appreciate it, and the hard work you put into these ghosts!
This is probably the best one you've made so far! It's always a good time when you upload! I also don't know if you take suggestions, but I'd love to see an Evee and all of its evolutions.
This was truly awesome!! Love the sculpture and the idea for it, it was executed perfectly!! And you go, Adam, paint it whatever the hell you want! (Purple's my favorite color, too--to be clear, I mean half purple, half imperial blue)
It looks awesome! Gastly already has some Venom vibes going on so maybe that's the answer? Personally I think Venom would choose a cute Pokémon for the surprise element. Imagine Jigglypuff with a symbiote... 11/10 on the wormy dealies this week.
Ditto seems easiest to merge with and then instead of having to transfer from pokemon to pokemon to gain their abilities, all its gotta do is transform
Hi Adam! just wanted to let you know that you’re work inspired me to start and finish my first project! I made the blessed lance from FE: fates. Thank you so much for being such an inspiration :D on a side note ghost types are my favorites in Pokémon so thank you for doing my babies justice !!!!
So far you’ve done right by my boi Gengar. As a ghost type user with Gengar being my favorite, you have my seal of approval. (Not that it was wanted or even warranted).
I love your Pokemon series so much! I think my favorite part of this particular sculpture is that while Gengar and Ghastly are looking forward, Haunter is looking up at God™
I'm late to this video, so apologies for the comment after all these months. I just had to say something about the genius chapter titling on this video. I accidentally saw the first one when I was changing captions and laughed out loud. "Purple Poltergeist Porcupine" will forevermore come to mind whenever Gengar is so much as mentioned. You legitimately bring joy. Thank you for this.
