I love how half of these are sound based. Despite being one of our five core senses we use every day, our hearing can be deceiving if we don’t know what’s making the sounds. There’s a reason we get scared when we hear a noise in the middle of the night. And the fact that siren head can mimic human voices makes it extra deceiving.
I'm a softy, and i think Slenderange isn't evil. Maybe he's lonely, or takes children who are upset, trying to take them away from whatever is upsetting them. Gothorita kidnaps children to be it's friend, so i think that makes sense. Then again i am a huge Hypno defender too lol (I say Hypno takes children to feed Drowzee their dreams and then let them go, but because they usually just release them rather than returning them they get a bad reputation) Also Slenderange should have a signature move where it stabs with its tentacles. Also Concretin is really cute to me. It's just a silly little guy!!!
Theories/ possible lore: Slenderange = Deoxys' clone or child? Freakuency = "Trick or Treat" Wooper? Concretin = Potential alternate evolution for Yamask? Narcisiren = New evolution when two Bellsprouts in your party are ready to evolve into Weepinbell at the same time?
You know, you could probably make a series based solely on SCPs being turned into Pokemon. I'd watch that. We don't have enough slimy Pokemon, and I need an SCP-999 Pokemon.
Real quick, Orcarina also looks like it could represent RayCon's modifiable gel-tips by using a variable-size sponge tool, the same way bottlenose dolphins use sponges to dig up prey!
NO, there is NO WAY slender man originated in 2019, either Ron got the wrong information, he misspoke, or time is not real and I am scared. 2:28
"Even the creepiest Pokemon look like they can be befriended." Don't get me wrong, I love it's design, but... Eternatus. It is a literal poisonous alien skeleton dragon. It looks like a freaking Yu-Gi-Oh monster. It's not what I'd call friend-shaped. I'm really glad that we can befriend it, but it's not friend-shaped.
Although I don’t think eternatus was a very good example, since it’s a legendary and has an antagonistic role in the story, which would explain why it looks so weird and creepy (and well, not friend-shaped), I think I agree that Ron can be little overly insistent on every design he makes having an obviously silly feature, or being “friend-shaped.” Not every Pokémon has to blatantly look like it could be your friend, especially when a part of the concept informs looking at least kind of creepy. (To be a little more detailed, I think this sort of thing is the least weird on Freakuency, I actually think it works really well with that one, but the weirdest feeling one is either Concretin or Narcisiren. I won’t be detailed for the sake of this not being TOO long.)
1:50 As soon as i saw it looked like an ocarina i immediatly thought "A good name would be Orcarina" Then you said: Presenting Orcarina.
If you ever do a sequel, I'd love to see Sonic.exe as a Mimikyu-esque mimic of Sonda from the first video game characters episode! Would make sense since you designed Sonda as a Pikachu clone in the first place.
I absolutely loved Slenderman's and Sirenhead's pokemons! They look so cool. I like how Slenderman's one kind of looks like it would be a Ben 10 Alien transformation. I also think the Lavender Town looks so much like an actual Pokemon! Well done!
Did not expect to see peanut here lol. Specially since that technically is not what he looks like anymore since its a copyrghted statue and the artist wanted nothing to do with scp so they removed it
I think instead of doing separate entries for different variations of this trend, it could be cool to make a Mon based on .Exe itself, possibly as a malicious creature who either infects or mimics the appearance of more innocent Pokemon.
Creatures that originated in Creeypastas would be excellent Pokémon. I think many of them would be seen as Legendary Pokémon. 7:10 Speaking of the SCP monsters, is it possible to continue with this idea with more What-If SCP creatures were Pokémon (assuming if it hasn't been done yet)?
Why are you using that version of 173 as reference it's not how it looks like anymore as the creator of 173 took down because the original artist who made the statue wanted it down
Truegreen7: They will be a little tougher to make into Pokémon since it’s a game made for children” Drifloon: literally kidnaps children. Mimikyu: so scary that everyone who sees it’s actual face dies of fright.
Loving this, including the fact that he thought Slenderman originated in 2019. I'm assuming it was a misread of the year 2009, but I prefer to believe that he was completely disconnected until 2019.
Hey guys, did you know that in terms of human companionship, Flareon is objectively the most huggable Pokémon? While their maximum temperature is likely too much for most, they are capable of controlling it, so they can set themselves to the perfect temperature for you. Along with that, they have a lot of fluff, making them undeniably incredibly soft to touch. But that’s not all, they have a very respectable special defense stat of 110, which means that they are likely very calm and resistant to emotional damage. Because of this, if you have a bad day, you can vent to it while hugging it, and it won’t mind. It can make itself even more endearing with moves like Charm and Baby Doll Eyes, ensuring that you never have a prolonged bout of depression again.
Ocarina of time is my favorite Zelda game, so I absolutely love Orcarina! Also, Creepypastas are an absolute must for me, so I really appreciate them getting some attention.
i can’t believe i predicted that you were gonna do siren head, at the beginning of the episode i was thinking how cool siren head would be as a pokemon and there he his lmao
Funny enough, I did a Lavender Town Syndrome inspired pokémon myself, but combined it with the myths surrounding the glass armonica, a musical instrument invented by Benjamin Franklin that was said to produce a sound that inspire deep and self-destructive depression.
Funny how your SCP 173 pokemon is similar to the SCP 173 redesigns made by fans when the artist of the original sculpture didn't want it there anymore.
Well, Mister, in case you didn't know, in Hindu culture, according to the lunar calendar, the festival that celebrates the victory of good over evil, and the celebration of Lord Rama, a Hindu deity and one of the 10 incarnations of the Supreme One, Vishnu, returning to his kingdom after defeating an army of demons, is on October 31st of 2024. Diwali, festival of lights and of the victoryofgood over evil, is on the same day as the Demon Risers day, so I guess these demons will think twice before coming out of the underworld. I may have exaggerated back there, but it is still true.
My favorite designs here would have to be Slenderange and Narcisiren! If you do make a part 2, I'd be interested to see a Smile Dog and Sonic.EXE Fakemon.
Slenderange makes me think of malamar… like a lot. Also could we possibly get some videos of turning just SCPs into Pokémon? I think there are plenty of interesting possibilities.
Now that you did Lavender Town Syndrome as a pokemon you should try and do Pokemon Creepypasta as pokemon heck do the Tails Doll Creepypasta as a Pokemon
I have a few very cool idea's based on Pokemon Creepypasta's! One could be based on Lost-Lilver, Disabled (The Wigglytuff), An actual pokemon based off missingno, Snow on mount slver, Buried alive, etc
These are honestly some cool way of making fakemon from creepypastas!!! If you do a part 2, might I suggest Jeff the Killer, Ben Drowned, and? Those are some more iconic ones in the community, as well, I def know someone who would be intrigued to see one of Masky lol!!!
I am still waiting for when we get a Halloween video about turning famous horror villains into Pokémon. Sure, it would be hard, but if anyone can or would it'd be True Green 7. Freddy Krueger, Jason Vorhees, Michael Myers, Pinhead, Pennywise, Leatherface, I think all could work if mixed with the right stuff. Leatherface with some type of pig would make sense because both eat strange things. Pinhead probably has many things it is inspired by. I just really think it needs to be done as a Halloween special. And I will request it every year.
@truegreen7 Not to be the "um actually" person but slenderman actually originated in an online series named Everyman Hybrid and was also featured in Marble Hornets.
I think it would be a really cool idea for a video series where you tell the story of a trainer (maybe a trainer who has a dear fondness for the color green *wink*) and every week is a new video - first we get to know the trainer, then his partner and then as we follow his journey we get to meet new Pokemon every week that he met on his journey and maybe get like a cute little story how the trainer (we) encountered them I just noticed I basically described the Pokemon anime but that doesn’t change the fact!
