I like how it's framed that the dog turned into a racing champion because of an expensive collar when in reality he just took the dog to a dog park for a day 😂
@@coolandtotallyawesomeguy we don't know that. It's an ad, he made up a nice story, doesn't mean it reflected the truth. Just like how they might know Pablo from before, but met up to film the AD!
I mean, they disclosed it was sent to them and didn't say anything positive about the product and just told you what it does. It's the best you can hope for.
That's a great point hopefully it does take into account the dog's age, breed, maybe even other health things so a corgi isnt trying to keep up with some great dane or greyhound
Breed and age actually aren’t the most important factor when evaluating energy levels so that wouldn’t really work for the mass majority of dogs. It can give you some sort of idea if they’re going to be a lower activity level or higher activity level breed but there’s not going to be a limit that works across the breed as energy limits can vary significantly across a breed or age range. That’s just something that an owner has to work out with each individual dog by listening to their body language or working with a pet trainer if they have concerns.
My cousin is in a wheelchair, so to make sure her dog is getting lots of excersize she does exactly this. She sends the little hellion out to chase an RC car and it works.
@@killuazoldyck7442 right, so that's how it should be advertised, not as something that makes your dog more active. A collar that lets you track your dog's exercise is great! It won't make them exercise more on its own though
@@KenikoB Yeah, though that's unfortunately how advertising works nowadays 😩 I do think it's a cool idea though! It's literally just a fitbit for a dog :3
why don’t youtubers just admit these are ads? if you follow the guidelines there’s be no issue. #ad in the title won’t hurt anyone but not posting the disclaimer violates ftc guidelines
I don't know why it's such god damn issue and btw i don't see the tab at the bottom that says "this video includes a paid promotion" unless it says that explicitly, it's not an ad. All because a product of some company is in a video doesn't always mean it's an ad but i guess just reviewing something (especially if you weren't even paid to review it) is an ad nowadays. The point of this video was about the loaf getting exercise not the tracker how did everyone else get that but you had to go and be a f**kin Karen over something so simple. If you have such an issue with product placement get off your ass, stop scrolling through TikTok or RU-vid, and go outside maybe complain to the manager about the blatant product placement on the store shelves at you local supermarket😂😂😂.
Great! Please be careful not to over exercise her though! She is a corgi and they have horrible leg joints and their backs are also too long for their little legs so you can do some damage if you’re not careful.
The same applies to all long-backed breeds. You should keep in mind, though, that these dogs were bred for herding. Most do not get anywhere near enough exercise. More exercise also means building up the muscles and strengthening ligaments and tendons which support the joints, including the spine. Much of the damage happens when these dogs are jumping off furniture.
It’s a good thing well-off pet owners are such a level headed bunch, otherwise this dog FitBit might turn into another reason for people to be neurotic!
Shouldnt do that while the leash is still attached. Sets a note that allows her to run away more freely even when attached, and it could get stuck somewhere and that's a quick pullback for ze pup
But how can you sell your useless product if you don't do that? You can track a dogs steps by tracking your own, which your smartphone likely has a built in app for already. If you need a fancy collar to take good care of your pet, you need to give them away immediately.
some people already have trouble seeing their dogs as more then a toy, doll, or decoration. We don't need them treating their dog as a trophy, overworking their dog so they can say their the best.
It's only illegal if he receives money. The law does not have any provisions for being provided a free product. He did disclose that they provided the product for free as well, which he's not legally required to do. Just trying to educate, because if you want the law changed you at least need to be aware of what it actually is.
Don't do that, we don't need to make dog walking competitive. It's gonna suck the fun out of it. Please just give your dog adequate exercise without worrying how many steps it takes.
Having a leader board is ridiculous. How many people are going to force their animals to exercise an unhealthy amount just to get up there in rank? It's just animal abuse waiting to happen
I want one of these for my cat and dog. We are leaving them with caretakers for the summer, so it would be awesome to track them and see signs of life.
