since you are really suprised that her shield doesn't break instantly, her shield is actually the closest to zhongli, and at C4 its like 1% stronger than a C0 zhongli i believe, but since zhongli's shield is geo it has increased res, which means in gameplay it still is stronger than layla's. still, a really good shield support for people without zhongli.
"Now they're gonna do a boss that takes away shields" Corrosion was already onto that until people either outhealed it, dodged, or killed stuff before it can corrode them.

I was not expecting a character to ever be able to top Zhongli's shield, much less a four star, but this video really makes her shields appealing. If only I could *get her*. I'm more likely to max Yae's cons than get a single Layla at this point...
@iignkfdvbjjg using Layla’s burst and a hydro character makes for infinite frozen enemies. And since her burst recharges so fast like holy shit, it’s spam-able. Like apply Layla burst, use hydro, all characters in vicinity are frozen, and even if they unfreeeze they get frozen again and again and again, pretty much immobile. So use yae E and whatever other character u want for reactions and they just die frozen in place😌👍
@iignkfdvbjjg good idea actually I already have Zhongli and Yae So if I use both of those shields + kokomi + layla Yae killing, Zhongli just existing with a shield, Koko healing?? The enemies ig atp and Layla sleeping It would be a sight to see

I had this really weird but kinda cool idea for a character ability the other day. What if they made a character that can imbue *enemy* attacks with certain elements. So you could make a hillichurl do pyro damage, and take advantage of that by using a pyro shielder. Or you could use it to play around with cleansing abilities like Jean's. I don't see it happening but that'd be pretty unique.
OMG I just built my first shielder with lvl80 noelle with a decent shield (and diona a little) and discovered how useful shielders actually are. And I recently pulled layla as well so now I will build her to hell and back!
Yo paikon fun fact if your crossing water with ayako make sure to have a character that can hold their e so when you run out of stamina and are on ice equip your character that can hold their e and then let go when your stamina is full.
Wow, this video actually makes a great case for her, those shields are pretty sturdy! (And I appreciate co-op shields, we need more of them TvT) I am curious why Paikon went back to Khaj Nisut when he started out with Jade Cutter though...
i relate to layla and i love her character design and thats why i love layla but im an f2p player so maybe when i spend a lil money ill try for her in the future
