I'm so glad your teach had a sense of humor. My two friends and I were tasked in making a "Political Campaign Ad" (all the way back in 2004 when it was ripe for indoctrination). We decided to run a smear campaign ad, and we made the one candidate look totally horrible (me). I had to do a few things for comedic effect, including running down a steep hill and actually breaking my wrist (this was after ringing a door bell in a "hidden ding-dong-ditch recording scandal" and pretending to be disgusted by sweet, cute dogs. It was so well edited for what we had available back then, and yet she still failed us because "we didn't take it seriously enough". The thing that pissed us off about that, is we took it very seriously. We took so many shots, we probably filmed for a week, spent hours editing it, while everyone else probably filmed for a few hours at best and most didn't have edits. Our entire class laughed throughout the video, they were all shown, so we won a moral victory. Screw that unfunny bitch

I had to do this exact assignment. It’s basically something that uses all the skills you learned in the semester, even though you’re most likely never gonna do all of this at once. Actually you’re mostly gonna be doing what Joey’s supposed to be doing in a film job

Ended up getting a D on that project because the teacher had no sense of humor. His comments were basically "It's shot and edited well, the audio is good. The product makes no sense though. 65%"
