The pitcher I’ve found the most success with is Charisma Luis Castillo. He’s a groundball/strikeout type pitcher. If you correctly mix the sinker and change up, he can be really devastating to hit against.

I went with Chipper first. Looking at his card for the first time, it was a beast. Babe has done fine with me, hitting 282 with 10 bombs, and I yet to unlock the final Set Collection

I've been doing well with Pedro personally, I like his high BB9 which allows him to paint pitches really well. Lack of sinker is fine, I tend to utilize the changeup, curveball and cutter a lot since people sit fastball.

Personally I picked Pedro first just because he is a top 3 favorite player for me all-time and I suck with babe and chipper for some reason and Pedro has a .73 era thru 50 innings so far and about 75 strikeouts

Why do you think Pedro is so underwhelming? Remember 99 Milestone JV from 2-3 years ago, same exact pitch mix and he was the best pitcher in the game. Just have to abuse the FB/CH velo change

My 3rd or 4th game of the year was like this. Only I had even better swings. And the game just wouldn’t give me a damn hit to save my life. But my opponent was getting HRs on balls outside the zone, low in the dirt sinkers somehow getting under it and sending it out, just crazy shit, but my perfect or almost perfect swings wouldn’t even go for hits let alone leave the park. 1 of 2 losses I have so far this year in Ranked. Should be 20-1 not 19-2

I took Pedro 2nd. There are not enough good pitchers in this game. He is serviceable. Not god tier. Serviceable. Rocking mad bum vs anyone that is good is impossible. Pedro gives you a slightly better chance. My first couple games with him have been him doing just good enough to get the win. I am looking for quality starts. CG SO are nice but I just need him to give me a chance which he has consistently done

That madbum charisma card might be the most underrated starter in the game right now he’s hard to hit when I face him and I dice people up when I use him
