It's totally okay to turn into a great ape and kill people don't worry, there are even quests for it by the ape spawn. You're going to want to train the heck outta ape for absolutely ages because you unlock and buff ikari further by using ape form, and if you want to solo and have more consistent group raids you'll need maybe Ikari 4 or 5 and lssj kaioken! You can lock on as ape to hit with the beam more easily. Also it's not lag that you can't move or use moves after an attack, that's a common game thing called endlag, to prevent spam and nerf the player
