FTL: FASTER THAN LIGHT:
In FTL you experience the atmosphere of running a spaceship trying to save the galaxy. It's a dangerous mission, with every encounter presenting a unique challenge with multiple solutions. What will you do if a heavy missile barrage shuts down your shields? Reroute all power to the engines in an attempt to escape, power up additional weapons to blow your enemy out of the sky, or take the fight to them with a boarding party? This "spaceship simulation roguelike-like" allows you to take your ship and crew on an adventure through a randomly generated galaxy filled with glory and bitter defeat.

Your FTL video reminded me about the last time when I watched an FTL video. It was from Total Biscuit, from back in the days when he was still well enough to make content. It's hard to believe it's been already 6 years since he passed away. :( Thanks for keeping us all entertained, Blitz.

4th level shields are usually a waste of money compared to getting a few more points in engines. Once you have like 5 levels in engines and max level pilot & engineer you get 45% dodge; so your 3 layers of shields are almost as good as 6 (because nearly half of shots will miss you), whereas if you kept the default points in engines and got 4 layers of shields instead you'd only have 25% dodge, and effectively only 5 layers of shields. Also, upgrading your piloting subsystem doesn't actually give you any more dodge while the system is manned; when it says you get 50% dodge for a level 2 piloting subsystem it means that when piloting isn't manned you get 50% of the dodge you'd otherwise have. The only ways to increase your base dodge chance are cloaking, leveling up your pilot and engineer, and putting points into upgrading and powering your actual engines.

I think the hull missile whould have done better than the hull laser since it goes through some shields and since you had so many missiles at the end anyway

At about 45:00 minutes in..... The bombs they were using don't do hull damage they only caus breaches and system damage and your 3 shield bubbles were loading back in time to defend mostly against their lasers..

Hey, blitz. I know these sortsa videos don't earn you the relative money that stuff like forts do, but I'd love to see FTL multiverse. It's sad that the algorithm has you forced to play the big new trends and stuff. Keep it up, man. And remember, you can always take a break if you want!
