Did the pattern run true to size? Seems like there's a lot of ease. Thanks for the video, it's going to help a lot.

There is a lot of ease in the waist and then it tapers down in the legs. I made a size 12 and I’m usually a size 10-12. The modification of making a straight leg helped to reduce some of the bulk in the waist. Hope that helps!

I want to make these so bad with a zipper. I was thinking side zipper with some darts but I'm not really seeing any room for the zipper. Hmm.

Hmmmmm It is drafted with a lot of ease for the elastic. You could maybe do a mock up and take it in the side seams/add darts to slim it down for a side zipper?
