shouldnt you spray starter fluid in the pipe so you get air and fuel being blown in from the leaf blower.....or maybe like one of those hand pump garden sprayers filled with 93 octane......whats the point of adding air without fuel. maybe pure medical grade oxygen but even then more fuel is required........whats the worst that could happen? are you gonna blow up your engine or catch on fire.......how important is an engines stoichiometric air fuel ratio?

Lol we did this with my friend's Ford lightning years a go. We didn't use all that tubing, it was just a craftsman electric leaf blower we left under the hood and ran a power cord to the cab. We even used a toggle switch to turn it on once the rpms were up

Nice! I did this with an 87 2.3l Mustang in high school. It wasn't turbo but the electric leaf blower motor I used was attached to my throttle linkage with a variable speed control knob and powered with an inverter. It was my first "boosted" car.

The trick with this setup is to minimize the tubing between the throttle body and the impeller every cubic inch is another opportunity for the air to bunch up and compress while the intake is breathing in impellers trying to force it out even the solid pvc acts like a balloon, the faster it hits the max psi of the blower in the space between the throttle and the blower the less lag you'll experience

You could mount a handheld leafblower in the engine bay, and hook the throttle linkage up to the gas pedal so that both the engine and the blowcharger have similar throttle input.
