Okay, you guys win. In celebration of the run, let me prepare a Xueyi guide. It won't be a super in-depth one though similar to what I did long ago with Asta's guide.

Impressive and I agree with the end criticism of the pvp format. Very well thought out. Personally there should be more bans but the bans only apply to the enemy team and the team can build teams with the resulting characters.

Super fun to watch. I recently started playing and Bailu was my first 5*. I've been levelling with a very similar team (missing Hanya, and not farmed), and it was super fun to see that the characters I'm playing now are still good later in the game.

You two did awesome! I will never play at this level, but it sure is fun to watch.

The picking and counter picking system makes more sense in a PvP game like Epic 7, where your last pick can counter an enemy character, and they don't get the opportunity to ban it or pick a counter to it.

Great strat, I also agree about your pvp opinions it's tricky to make it perfectly balanced in a pve game. Something that I've seen other tournaments do is have moc 10+11 picks and bans, then a 2nd pick ban phase for moc12 where you can't use any of the previous characters and the other players goes first. I I feel like the roster is big enough now to pull this off

xueyi's such a fun character man sure she isn't the "best 4-star dps" but man her kit is just well designed and balanced

Yess I also was saved by my Sampo for first half! I tried to do it with standard Kafka team then was surprised I cleared faster when I took Kafka out, gave her LC to Sampo then used Raun Mei. Simply using on-element DPS is so important for fast clears.

i am quite surprised that it is entirely legal to pick 5 5 star character XD. i thought it was the same rule as genshin, where each team can only pick 1 5 star Character and 1 5 star Weapon if I'm not mistaken. not to mention the Eidolon is quite... menacing, to say the least. But you really manage to win is extremely amazing. keep up the good work!

When I saw my boy sampo I knew someone was going to go off. Bounce skills + break efficiency = somebody is gonna die.

If you dont mind answering, how do you juggle building all these characters dreamy? Between talents and relics, it feels like at most i can only gear 2 characters a patch at most.

I've been loving Xueyi so much and I love the fact that you used her and Hanya for this~ moreover, the MoC clear! I pulled about 50 pulls and still couldn't get her E6, is it a deal breaker? I really wanted to play her so much.

Really good point about the first pick/last pick system. Perhaps team to go second should pick last 3 units all at once, so first-picker also gets last-pick - as last-pick is useless anyway?

Congratulations on your team's big win Dreamy! Watching the tournament video, I was incredibly surprised with the picks that both your and your opponent's team had locked in. No one had chosen a 5 Star DPS, and in doing so ended up highlighting the effectiveness of 4 Star alternatives and Supports that best brought out their potential. It was interesting to see a little of the behind the scenes communication between you and your partner, which ended up creating a composition I don't believe anyone expected to see in a competitive field. All in all, I am thoroughly impressed. Your video brought even more information that enhanced the original tournament video whilst also portraying your original style. I don't want to create too long a comment, so I would like to leave you with a few questions. If you were to enter a similar tournament again, would you change your priorities with character bans? (I.E. Banning a Support or healer in the second ban slot.) Did you have any alternative team comps in mind in case one of the characters you had wanted to pick had been taken by your opponent or been banned? Finally, how do you see the rulings in tournament style HSR content changing as more characters become available? Feel free to choose to answer some or even none of the questions if you like. The victory is quite impressive. Since Daniel and Jingliu are just getting banned every time, I wonder what would happen if only 4 star dps are allowed. That should save a few ban choices and make the matches much more interesting.

A good video! Main issues I had with it would be the pronunciation of names like Fu Xuan and Xueyi. It's "syu-an", not "sch-wan", and for Xueyi it's "syu-ee".

i honestly think a better pick method would be simultaneous picks Both teams pick at the same time, if they pick the same then the character is retired and can no longer be picked.

How would you say Xueyi compares to QQ in terms of enemies/mechanics that one might be weak at that the other is strong against? If you're gonna put that in the Xueyi guide I'm okay with just waiting for that too. Trying to figure out if I should build E4 Xueyi when my QQ is E6 and pretty well-built already.
