You absolutely can have more than one mouth. I've evolved as a carnivore but kept the cell stage herbivore mouth as a decoration and I was still able to use it to eat plants and sing. Just know that if you remove it you won't be able to get it back. You can keep as many of the cell stage parts as you can afford. In nature you'll have predators that sometimes eat plants and herbivores that sometimes eat meat, like when deer eat birds, so having a main diet of plants or meat and still being able to eat some of the other is realistic. Also I think you'll be able to do social displaying from the start.

11:25 - If you hold Tab while positioning a body part, you get more options for turning and rotating. If you press 'A' while hovering over a body part, you can move or reposition just one side making the creature Asymmetrical. (works on certain vehicle parts as well)

12:25 - you can choose custom colors by clicking on one of the color palettes at the top. I don't recall if it is left or right click, then you can adjust intensity, shade, and tint.

FYI spore came out in 2008 doom came out around 1995 way total graphic difference. Spore is way closer to current graphic hell current games have worse graphics than spore
