I want to thank K R for the idea on this video. It was nice, but the end of the day a phone is still important, but watching your use is more important. Thanks for watching, Scott Schroeder
I don’t own an Apple Watch so only have my iPhone and I was guilty of spending far too much time on my device. I love my reading and was using iBooks but was hard work as I would start reading a book and then end up checking other things and was easily distracted so to eliminate that i purchased an Amazon Kindle PaperWhite for all of my books and it made a huge difference as yes I may be swapping one device for another but it’s cut my phone time so much since doing this as I am spending more time reading books and not flicking between apps all the time.
I used a cellular Apple Watch for a week. Definitely noticed how much people are on their phones. I liked the focus on daily activities but man there definitely were some boring times lol.
New Subscriber here, I love your content, Scott! Also, it's nice to see the OG SE (i still use one as my phone, but i'm thinking of getting the new 13 mini) make an appearance nowadays! I hope you keep making such great videos, peace!
I actually recently realized I was mindlessly scrolling through Flipboard too much. So I challenged myself to delete and I’ve notice I spend significantly less time on my iPhone at work now than I was.
Hey love your video , how did you set up your old phone with your apple watch ? I want to buy a old iPhone too just for putting it in my pocket but I don’t know how to connect it if I already paired my aw with my iPhone 11
At first I i thought the Apple Watch is just a nice to have but after getting it, it rly helped me spending less time on my phone. My iPhone changed into an apple watch hub and I barely use it
I’m where you were at before turning your phone into a watch hub. It’s been 5 months, are you still using your phone as a hub? If so, can you share your thoughts?
