Innersense is my favorite haircare brand from clean beauty so far-it was one of the first brands that worked for my hair since I started my hair journey. The Color line from them is my favorite too!!! I used to love the Hydrating line, then my hairstylist recommended I try the Color line, and I’ve loved it ever since! The emulsifying in the hands definitely helps distribute the shampoo throughout the hair. I also wash my hair 1-2 times per week, but I am looking for a cheaper alternative to their products that I can alternate with their shampoo and conditioner just to extend their life even more. Thankfully they last a decent amount of time with my washing frequency though. Loved hearing your thoughts on these Adaira, I have similar-ish textured hair, so I love being able to learn through your experience!

I use the hairbath which if you mix with water, rub it and put it in sections, then use a shampoo brush to clean scalp, it WILL lather. It might not be an extreme lather, but it definitely does. I think it’s very expensive. Luckily I only wash my hair about once a week. So there’s that. Haven’t quite worked out if I love the gel. I might not be using that properly. The leave in conditioner is nice, but it’s SO lightweight. It’s not bad;however I feel like I need it to be creamier. I use Bounce Curl’s leave in or curl cream under gel. That seems to smooth my frizz better.

Have you tried any of the aveda products? I know they’re not as clean but they’re a lot cleaner than others! I just hope they remove silicones from some of their products which they claimed they’re doing. I’m currently trying their botanical repair range which is silicone free. I love the rich hair mask in that range but find the conditioner not hydrating enough

I am strongly considering buying the brand but I am wondering if just the shampoo, conditioner and leave in spray would suffice as a starter pack into the CGM world? My hair is similar to yours when healthy but I got a bad haircut and it is pretty short at the moment. It is straight at the top and gets wavier ending in a single curl at the end of the strand. I Have a lot of frizz on the crown but not throughout the rest of my hair. Would lour your advice.

Hi ❤️ thank you for watching! What worked for me was the shampoo & conditioner + gel. You want to gently rise the conditioner out of your hair but leave 25% of it left. This helps locks in moisturize. Then dry your hair with a t-shirt helps reduce frizz. Then add in pea size of some gel thru out your hair and scrunch it. Use a defuser to dry your hair or let it air dry. Also I recently got a shower filter and it helped my hair become less frizzy! Remember to only use their hair line for a month or so, so your hair can detox and get use to their formula. You won’t get the same lather as a regular shampoo. But make sure you lather it on you finger tips before going on your scalp.

Well noted, I didnt initially want to consider putting in gels as (and I was hoping to get your feedback on this) I generally prefer to not have full curls. My hair tends to be straight until my ear and then has curls. And I feel more confident having my hair slightly more wavy than curly. Do you think it is a terrible idea to use clean products but maybe still light blow dry it (and not diffuse)? I know it may not be the appropriate CGM method but I want to grow out my hair to have curls long. Short curls after my terrible haircut just doesn't make me feel good :/ .

I love your hair! .. I wanted to say that it’s not true that clean shampoo products don’t lather, there are some that do. Living libation shampoos lather extremely well. Briogeo is more accessible and those are clean and lather

You should try the John Masters Organics Primrose Shampoo. It lathers really well. I combine it with the John Masters Organics Avocado + Lavendel hydration conditioner

@@AdairaWellness the NatureLab Tokyo Repair Mask is pretty good. There is also a good mask from John Masters Organics called apricote hair mask. You can also use the Avocado Hair Mask from John Masters Organics as a mask.

Grace B Innersence is the only clean beauty shampoo & conditioner I’ve tried so far. Looking to try more. But I have really loved it and stuck with it for the past year.

Organic Adaira my Hashimoto’s is all over the place. I’m a senior in high school and I’ve only been diagnosed with it for a year... my Dr is till trying to figure everything out but the only thing I’ve really noticed that’s helped is my diet. I’ve cut out sugar, dairy, and gluten almost completely.

Grace B I’m glad you’ve found something that helps you. Hashimotos is unpredictable but diet & removing toxins such as heavy metals, parasites, yeast, gut infections help! I’m currently getting my mouth, teeth, jaw looked out because silent jaw infections have been linked to autoimmune conditions. Do you get joint pain? Also I have a few videos about my hashimotos journey on my page.

Organic Adaira I do get pretty bad joint pain. I have EDS too though (which is a joint disorder) so it’s hard to tell which one it’s from🤦🏼‍♀️ I got some more blood taken yesterday and I have a ultrasound in a couple weeks so we’ll see where that goes! I noticed you had some videos. I’m definitely going to watch all of them😂

I do not. But I would think high moisture shampoo & conditioner would be best. Both Innersence & evolve have amazing products that help your hair hold onto moisture. I would DM them or email them to see what they recommend just to be sure. Since they are more expensive.

This sounds like a commercial. The only thing you had to say about things you didn't like was lather and price. I didn't like the video, which wasn't informative; basically, you said it was pricy because it was clean and organic, but it was not helpful at all. Explain yourself and give knowledgeable feedback, not statements that aren't backed up by any information.

I try innersense and is ok. But the one that I really love for my curly hair is envolvh their products are so good they're organic,vegan, cruelty free, free of toxins like innersense. I combine both, but I prefer envolvh instead of innersense.
